Let's start with this: I bought a case of wine to be shipped to my house. For staff and leadership were incredibly kind and personable, showing me 100-year-old Zinfandel Vines in the private access areas even though I wasn't a member. This was the best wine that I had on our trip! The 2023 wild Oak Sauvignon Blanc was amazing, as was the 2020 dry Creek valley Zinfandel, and the 2021 Old Vine Zinfandel. Definitely suggest getting a tasting, and see if you can get Kevin to educate you on the place. The guy is awesome! Love this place, is a great experience, the wine was so good I bought a bunch more. Isn't that what visiting a vineyard is all about?

The food and wine were great, but the seating arrangement was uncomfortable. We had to sit at a long table with strangers, introduce ourselves, and The discomfort was worsened by the person at the next seat asked racially insensitive and condescending questions. When we answered, he kept trying to “educate” us in a patronizing manner, making the situation even more unpleasant. I was so uncomfortable that I felt like I couldn’t digest the food properly, and I ended up with indigestion that lasted until the next day.

Went for a tasting to celebrate my 30th birthday. Had the best time and highly recommend their food and wine pairing. The service was phenomenal and it was the best food we had on our whole trip

St. Francis Winery & Vineyards offers a fantastic wine-tasting experience with beautiful views of the vineyards. The wines are excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. Lori was great—knowledgeable and friendly, she made the experience even more enjoyable as well as Steve. Highly recommend visiting for a memorable wine tasting!

Very mixed about this place.
The property and location is beautiful, absolutely a 5 out of 5 there.

What gets me about these larger places is if you are a walk in just running around town having fun you get treated completely differently that people who make reservations.

The lady working the front barely gave us the time of day and asked us to go to the bar. Then the guy at the bar would not talk to us. We were asking him questions and he said to go back and talk to the lady at the front desk, which we did. They then told us about a self guided tour, literally gave us a pamphlet and said this is our self guided tour, then stopped talking to us again. Super strange...

We were about to leave because the original guy at the bar disappeared, and out of no where an actual friendly face appeared and began talking to us.

We ordered a Cab and a Chard. Both were fantastic.

Because no one would advise us about this self guided tour we got lost but eventually found our way.

Super cool to be able to walk through the vineyard and see the grapes up close and learn a little about the vines and the property.

We then found a seat in the shade and finished our wine and went on our way.

Overall pleasant experience but could have been better at the beginning. I recommend calling ahead or making a reservation. But if your like us you CAN walk in, but I don't think it is preferred.

Great visit to St Francis Winery, again! This was our second visit to this Sonoma gem. We knew we had to go back and let our adult kids experience it as we did. Maria was our wine educator and knows her stuff! She made our visit so enjoyable. Beautiful vineyard and the view of their “backyard” is outstanding.

What an exquisitely enjoyable experience we had at St. Francis! The weather was perfect and the setting was soothing and allowed us to escape the frenzied pace of our “every day” for a while. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine pairing on the veranda. It was quite evident that the chef had given great thought to the menu because with each course the featured wine was a perfect complement to the dish that was served. Special kudos to our server, Katie who was so warm and welcoming as well as quite knowledgeable about the food and wines. It was an afternoon that we will long remember and appreciate. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sonoma County.
