The recital was perfectly organized! The venue was a beautiful place. It had a classic and elegant vibe to it. It really made our son feel like a “Star.” The setup was great. I recommend moving the guitar section further up. Also, please move the mic stand in the front out of the way when the guitar students are playing. I love that Mr.Kyle was able to sit with my son on stage. It made him feel comfortable. This was his very first recital!

Updated review: Almost going on our third year at Santee Music Academy and still have the same amazement as I did when I walked in. I absolutely love everyone at this studio. Coach Avery and my son have such a special relationship. I know Enzo will always remember Avery for the rest of his life. All the tears, sweat, laughs and smiles will never be forgotten.

My son has been attending Santee Music Academy for a little over two years. Mr. Avery has been my son’s music instructor since day one and absolutely loves him. I’ve sat in some lesson before and admires his teaching techniques. I’ve also learned a few things my self with just by sitting in and watching them both work. He takes his time with my son. I can tell when my son’s in a different mood from the last time Avery saw him, Avery adjust to him. There’s been a lot of laughs, some tears out of frustration with learning more difficult lessons and a whole lot of growth as a learning pianist.

The front staff are great. They are accommodating and understanding. When my daughter and I wait in the lobby. They are so sweet to my dear daughter. They have her entertained with coloring.

My son’s favorite thing about Santee Music Academy is the rewards program. You should call to find out what that it. 😉

My son (8) and daughter (4) attend Santee Music Academy and love it. My son takes drum lessons with Mr. Kyle and my daughter signing lessons with Ms. Amy. Both are outstanding. Highly recommend!

Excellent staff in a comfortable learning environment. This is a great place for kids to take their first steps on their musical journey, even if they know nothing about music. Teachers are supportive and excellent at teaching music to students with a musical background and complete beginners. I took vocal lessons at the Santee Music Academy and was always impressed by their staff and faculty. For those looking to learn music I cannot recommend Santee Music Academy enough.

I love this music academy! Teachers are so talented and the whole staff is super friendly! Awesome program! Shout out to our instructor Malia! She is so sweet, friendly, and talented! Voice and guitar is a good way to start!! She is amazing! Thank you for being a positive role model to girls and showing the boys that there are smart women who were raised in a positive way!!!

We have nothing but good things to say about Santee Music Academy! My boys absolutely love their teachers! 2 of my boys take guitar and piano lessons with Mr. Kurt. He is so chill and is game for teaching them any song they request to learn. His laid back approach really helps foster my boys' love of music. My other son takes piano with Ms. Althea and he is so enamored with her. She is very good at bribing him to practice with stickers and candy and he loves it! She is so encouraging and sweet and is good about making sure a good foundation of the basics is learned, but in a fun way. All three of my boys look forward to their weekly music lessons!

My 12 year old daughter has been taking voice lessons with Mr. Koa for a few months now. Every week she is so excited to go to class because she loves learning new things and seeing her voice grow. Mr. Koa has really drawn out the power of her voice that she and I did not really know existed. He is so encouraging, patient, and really utilizes amazing techniques to focus on improving her skills without feeling like she is “missing” the mark. I’ve seen him teach her lessons she can apply not to just her singing but also in more aspects of her life for many years to come. She is learning humility, showmanship, and the power of her voice. I’ve put my other children in lessons in the past but those classes were not as stimulating as this one.

Sophia has also had a chance to try workshops learning piano and guitar and those were equally good. The teachers are talented, fun, and devoted which is the perfect combo to mold young minds and talent. Each of us has a list of very memorable and impactful teachers in our lives, and I’m sure Mr. Koa has made it to the top of Sophia’s list!
