Great place for me to take lunch, grab a coffee and enjoy the beautiful park. Low-key, pretty, and comfortable. Lots of events here during the year! Great place for visiting, hanging out, or celebrating community with others during events!

I'm specifically reviewing the carnival rides at the Fall Festival (2023) that I went on.

Zipper- Fun Zipper ride from Chance Rides. I got some 3 or 4 backward flips in a row one in 1 ride- I rode 2x.

Kamikaze- A.R.M. Kamikaze with plenty of hangtime! The restraints are pretty good as well. Loved the hangtime. Rode 1x

Tilt-A-Whirl- A typical Tilt-A-Whirl ride. This time I rode it, it was kind of forceless. Rode 1x

Spinny Berry Thing- Rode with some kids and spun a lot- rode 1x

Star Dancer (Technical Park?)- Amazing ride! Awesome positive g's, as well as some hangtime at the top of each swing. Favorite ride there! It's also pretty smooth for a carnival flat ride and doesn't feel as janky as the other rides. - rode 1x

Star Flyer- a typical, mini starflyer ride from ARM I believe. This ride is very fun! Great views! -Rode 2x

Orient Express- (Wisdom Rides Kiddie Coaster). This ride has a nice ride cycle, as the operators send you around 6-7x each per ride cycle. Very forceless, however. A tiny bit of laterals, And that's it. The coaster is awfully slow. -Rode 2x

Bumper Cars- I did lots of donuts in these! Rode 1x

Sunken Garden's is always an excellent place for a venue or chill day at the park. Trees, a healthy lawn, with excellent downtown parking and access.

Sunken Gardens is very well maintained a very awesome place to bring your dogs and children or just have a cup of coffee and lunch it is a very beautiful Park and the Atascadero PD make sure that there aren't homeless people encroaching

How could anyone dislike this beautiful location. The fountains, the architecture, the grass... I love this spot not only for car show/ parades or festivals with the locals... I love to see my family enjoy the environment with a picnic and play here and I think about how lucky I am to live where I do with people I love. Absolutely stunning location.
