For very low green fees you get what you expect. A seniors and beginners course with low difficulty hazards and no water features. Except the occasional flooding of the 8th fairway. Nice driving range, with a decent chipping green, and a really nice putting green, and new practice bunkers are being built. Pace of play is slow and a lot of ornery golfers. Patience is a must out here and 18 can take anywhere from 2 hours to 4+ depending of who's in front of you.

I have golfed here since 2006. It’s a challenging little course for beginners and the try hards like myself. Personally it is worth the price. You’ll love the “Amen Corner” holes 5-7. If you break 40 you’re a great golfer.

Fun 9 hole! Ventura unofficial practice facility. All serious golfers and students, sign up for the players club! It's a great deal!
The range balls are best in town, always clean and in good condition.

This is a nine-hole course but you can play through twice if you want to play eighteen. The course is sufficiently maintained but the chipping and putting greens are excellently manicured. And of course, there is a driving range- 200 yards to the fence. Most of the holes play shorter than your average course but this is still a great place to practice and hone your skills.

The Saticoy Regional Golf Course of today is a really nice, friendly golf course, thanks to the general manager and her crew. It's a 9-hole that plays like an 18-hole with enough challenging holes to make it fun, the fairways and greens are well maintained, although the bunkers need work. Saticoy is also the perfect course to learn golf without feeling intimidated. They have two instructors, one who is a certified professional instructor (Bob Lewis), a nice driving range that stays lighted until 8:00 pm, practice green for putting and chipping, and a practice sand trap. Another great deal they have is the Player's Club. For $30 a month, you get free golf, $8 for a cart or $4 walking fee, a free beverage of your choice with your round, free range balls for practice, 2 free golf clinics a week, and big discounts on golf accessories in the pro shop. Plus, the certified instructor gives members 15% off his lessons. You won't find a better deal anywhere in Ventura County. I think, Saticoy is the perfect golf course for recreational golfers from beginners through advanced players.

The pro shop was not very friendly or helpful. We came from out of town and needed to rent bags. The women’s bag only had 4 clubs. They charged us $35 per bag. Pretty steep for half a bag and poor quality clubs. The course is not well maintained, but it was in the winter and they had just received a significant amount of rain, so I gave them a break.

Weekend rates are now $31 for 9 holes with a cart. That’s ridiculous for this course. You might as well pay a few more dollars and golf at Sterling or Cam Springs and get 18 holes. This course is not in the condition to justify the price. You used to be able to golf 9 here with a cart for half the price which was fine given the course condition.

Highway robbery. You get more value at other courses. Recommend avoiding until they come back to reality.

Absolute terrible customer service, to match the atrocious course management.I cancelled my membership 6 months ago. Then received a charge for said membership 6 months later, when I called to see what was going on and why I was charged…I was told they don’t charge anyone, it’s done by a third party. And it’s my responsibility to contact them and get my money back…even though the third party wouldn’t know to charge me unless Saticoy Golf Course authorized it. Terrible course that waters everything but the fairways, with even worse custome service. DO NOT WATSE YOUR MONEY. Any other course in Ventura is waaay more worth the money.
