Girrrrl. Don’t walk… run over to Institute of Beauty Culture & ask for Paola. She’s graduating soon so make sure you book with her & you’ll have your forever hairdresser ♥️ I have only had two stylist in my life time & Paola is now my one & only. I’ll be following her wherever she goes. The salon is very clean, great atmosphere & the staff/teachers know what they are doing & it shows in their girls work. 10/10 recommend. Also making an appointment will be best if possible or try your luck with a walk in. Thank you Institute of Beauty Culture. I added a before & after of my hair. O stars. This place dangerous, not only is the building falling apart and moldy but I was a student who attended here and I was not only mistreated for being passionate about my education and speaking up but had the cops called on me for asking why I was getting sent home. Instead of Annette being an educator or an adult and having a conversation with me, she called the cops and choose to say there was a hostile student inside the school. I'm a student with good grades and has never had a write up or any disciplinary actions.
This was 2 days before my graduation. The only reason students have any success there is because youtube and fellow students helping each other out. The only qualified instructor is Bill but he can only help so much.
The other instructor Veronica will teach you more about her personal life and talk about students before teach you the "basic" in hair, nails, facials, and coloring on paper "makeup". It's sad that education is not everyone's goal in A "school" but the politics and taking students money is more important. For the students attending now don't let this place diminish your hopes, dreams, and creativity. When you guys make names for yourselves it will be because all of your hard work, not what the school could have provided but should have.
The education that they sale you on is just that a sales pitch.

My brother is a hairstylist for seven years and what they did today on my hair as students was as good as a professional hairdresser.
The behavior of everyone including the students with customers or teacher with students was very good and friendly.
I am very happy with it and of course I will go again.

!BE AWARE! I was a student here and got yelled multiple times a day just for asking reasonable questions. Also I started to feel very sick as soon as I would enter the building, after 2 weeks of attending it was getting harder for me to breathe. I eventually went to the ER and got diagnosed with severe pneumonia and was out on treatment right away. I went back after recovering and stepped away to go to the bathroom and to my surprise found the walls covered in mold. I immediately confronted the owner and she just denied and rolled her eyes at me, she told me that if I don’t like the environment I should go somewhere else. This could’ve been fatal not just to me but everyone is at risk, please don’t attend here, especially if you have asthma.

My girl got her hair done up all fancy here prior to a gala we were going to. She's always been beautiful, but wow you guys did a good job on her hair. When she walked out that door I swore my heart beat out of my chest. She doesn't do reviews so I'm putting one down. You guys did a really good job and made her feel beautiful and special and treated her kindly the entire time she was there. She talked about it for quite some time.

I recently visited the Institute of Beauty Culture for a facial treatment and had an outstanding experience. From the moment I entered the institute, I was greeted warmly by the staff and immediately felt at ease. The esthetician who provided me with an amazing facial was named Marissa, and I cannot praise her skills and professionalism enough.

Marissa was not only highly knowledgeable about skincare but also had a genuine passion for her work. She took the time to understand my specific concerns and skin type, ensuring that the treatment would be tailored to my needs. Her expertise and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire facial, as she performed each step with precision and care.

I must also commend Lorie, the teacher at the Institute of Beauty Culture, for her helpfulness and guidance. Lorie was readily available to answer any questions I had and provided valuable insights into skincare routines and maintenance. Her expertise and dedication to teaching were evident, and her willingness to share knowledge contributed greatly to my overall experience.

In addition to the exceptional staff, the Institute of Beauty Culture itself was clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming ambiance. The facilities were well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment for clients to relax and enjoy their treatments. will definitely be returning for future treatments and experiences.

I have recently graduated from the Esthetician program through Institute of Beauty Culture. I want to thank my teacher Lorie she is so amazing!!!! A teacher who will go above and beyond, so greatly appreciated! And Annette the owner, who has a heart of gold. I also want to give a shout out to Noe, he was such an amazing help through my process.
If you are looking for a school that has excellent hands on training, clean environment, and over all well structured classes, then this is the school for you! Invest in yourself to invest in your future.

Went in for a facial along with a friend. The students are very welcoming, knowledgeable and give you an amazing experience. My friend loved it as much as I did!! If you have second thoughts going because it's students..dont..give them a try! They have the best instructors and tend to individuals on what services be best for them and comfort. Definitely A+ all around From cleanliness, comfort, privacy, products! Thank You for great services!!
