This is a beautiful golf course. There’s a view of the bay on almost every hole. The greens are well kept. There’s plenty of bunkers to make your game a little bit more interesting.

There is some construction in the area but doesn’t interfere with your game. They are also repairing some damage from recent storms. Again this will not affect your game.

Everyone we met was friendly and very helpful.

Before or after - be sure to get a snack at the restaurant.

The construction was not as relaxing as I like when golfing. Also all the sand they are putting all over kinda sucks. The course is amazing other than that. Oh the carts are regulated by a radar system and some times it shuts down cart when you are not out of bounds which can be a pain in the ass.

What a nice course 😀

Like the condition of the course, tee boxes/fairways/greens all perfect; like the design and landscape, especially the trees, though I hit the trees almost every hole ⛳.........

Some up and down hills, but pretty friendly to all levels of golfers.

Some of the holes have the view to the sea, take a deep breath when you see it, it'll just smooth out of your long week.

Nice place to play golf. Great condition and friendly condition. They provide free range ball. And you can pratice on grass. Some of the hole you can see the ocean.

This course is in absolutely perfect condition and has beautiful views. A must play in the area. I even took advantage of a free club demo on the range and Jake dialed in a new driver shaft for me. Food was great and well.

We had a great round at Black Horse! The pricing was reasonable, pace of play was great (3.5 hours for our round), the course conditions were great (nice being able to get on the green in regulation for several holes). The only negative is the driving range seems oddly positioned at the very rear of the course, somewhat far from hole 1. Staff was friendly, the egg mcmuffin sandwich was delish and the ocean/Monterey Bay views were really nice. There is a good amount of construction around the course for new homes which did not bother us but something to be aware of. We will definitely play here again!

Awesome golf course with a first class event space for weddings and similar parties. We played the black course, which was scenic but challenging, with fast greens and tight fairways. On a clear day you'll have views of the Pacific and Monterey Bay. We saw a few deer walking around on the course too. The following day, we had a large party for a quiceañera in the event space, and it was catered by the facility. The food was very good, with friendly service and a full service bar. The outside patio was perfect for hanging out and enjoying the cool ocean breezes. A fantastic experience overall, on both days!

Great course, I shot my best round of the Pebble Trip here at Bayonet.
Was a close to 5 hour round with no Marshall's in sight, and a pretty big gap two groups ahead of us!
Restaurant wasn't bad, great prices and TVs to watch the masters on.
