We need more than 5 stars… Penny has a unique gift to be able to interpret what behaviors are telling us and translate that to us dog parents in a supportive, informative and empowering way.
I called Penny out of the blue frantic because my new Puppy wasn’t the sleepy furball i brought home, but a chaos machine I was not prepared for as I didn’t grow up with dogs and this was my first puppy!
She quickly diagnosed the issue and then showed this human how to positively build a relationship with my little canine.

“Limit space, routine, much more nap time than I realized” she gave me easy to follow instructions- also.. and most importantly that keeping the energy from escalating was MY job, not my puppy’s responsibility- and she showed me how to do this.

With clear instructions, hands on teaching, and so much patience she continues to open my eyes to how my dog perceives the world. She has taught me how important it is to give adequate rest and boundaries- which is counter intuitive to having a puppy that you want to snuggle all the time.

I asked for Penny’s help with my “unruly” but adorable pup- but have learned so much more about how to build a trusting bond based on mutual respect.

Happy to report that I have a well behaved (mostly, she’s still a puppy), grounded dog that I can take anywhere!
Penny’s dedication and care for the canines and humans she teaches are apparent and appreciated.

Penny helped with training my 3 small chihuahua dogs over the course of a couple months. All three dogs had issues with barking. She was able to give me the tools to correct the behavior by understanding where their behaviors were coming from. Her knowledge, understanding and positive reinforcement was amazing! I learned a tremendous amount of knowledge during our on-site sessions. All three dogs improved their commands and the barking decreased. She worked with our 4 month old golden retriever and provided tools and techniques to have an obedient and well behaved dog.
