Mr. Bachman has been a great piano teacher for my 7 year old son. His cheerful personality and incredible patience along with his ability to make learning new skills fun has allowed my son to grow in his musical abilities. He has also been flexible with our family's personal challenges which has been greatly appreciated. We have all enjoyed getting to know Mr. Bachman and continue to look forward to the new musical skills our son develops.

Mr. Bachman has been a great teacher to my beginner students this year. He taught my son (10) the basics of drumming and, when my son decided to switch to ukulele, he quickly learned a song a week. My daughter (7) fully enjoyed learning the trumpet this year and it’s been so fun to see her grow in music reading and playing. I also appreciated being able to sit in on the lessons.
His steady, patient, and engaging approach made learning how to play their instruments fun and motivating for both of my kids.

My 7 year old son has been taking guitar lessons with Jim since August. My son absolutely loves Jim. He has years of experience working with young students, and came highly recommended by many other local musicians. Which is why we chose him. He has been very accommodating with vacations and illnesses and truly loves teaching music. We have seen a huge difference in our sons ability to read music and comfort with the guitar. Along with that, his confidence level is starting to sore musically and personality wise. If you have a youngster who is interested in music give Jim a call or email. He is very responsive!

Both my nine-year-old son and six-year-old daughter are students of Jim's and he does fantastic work with them. He is a very experienced teacher and musician who has worked with kids of all ages as well as adults.

As a teacher, Jim is friendly and approachable. He knows when to be encouraging and when to ask more of his students. It's amazing how much my children have learned from him in the last year and I can't recommend him highly enough. If he's got a time slot available for you or your child, grab it while you can!

Jim is a wonderful and engaging teacher. My three daughters look forward to their piano lessons every week and happily practice on their own as they love all the music he has given them. Their favorite is when he plays guitar along with them as duet! Highly recommend Bachman’s music.

Update..
I have been taking lessons from Jim for a year-and-a-half now. My skills have improved greatly. The improved skills opened doors that allowed Jim to introduce me to music I love that I never would have selected. I look forward to every lesson.

Jim Bachman has been teaching my 15-yr-old son piano for about 1-1/2 years. My son had a raw talent and could play by ear. Mr. Bachman has refined his abilities in a beautiful way! He has adjusted the pace to keep my son challenged and engaged. The environment is relaxed and safe. His rates are very competitive. Mr. Bachman even helped repair our hand-me-down electric guitar. It's beautiful now! This private studio is a hidden gem!
