This is a wonderful environment for toddlers to thrive. My daughter is exposed to play, movement (indoor gym!), lots of music, dance, reading and arts everyday. They provide soccer and yoga classes weekly. And the kids get to explore the outdoors (great private playground) as much as possible. The school is led by warm and competent professionals dedicated to create a family oriented space. Some teachers have been there for many years. Did I mention the school bus? Lol. If you have this opportunity, don’t think twice. This is a hidden gem.

This school is a hidden gem, I recommend all first time moms/new moms to enroll their kid in this wonderful school. To start off, the staff makes you feel like family, they help you and your kid out in any way possible that they can. With my first born, every week it was surprising to see how much information and knowledge my kid was being taught, the teachers truly know what they are doing. In addition, the school provides enchriment programs such as soccer, yoga, and music with Louie, all of which both my girls truly enjoy so much and look forward to every week. If you're deciding between this school and another, this is your best choice 🙂
All in all, my oldest finds herself coming back to this school pretty often, I know this school holds a special place in her heart. TRULY RECOMMEND WILLIAMSBURG Y HEADSTART.

My 3 year old is having the time of his life in 3k at WILLIAMSBURG Y headstart! So much so that he didn't want to go home at the end of the day for the first month of school lol. Honestly my husband and I love it too. We couldn't have picked a better place for our kiddo to begin his school journey! He is learning so much. The teachers are kind and really have a love for educating children. The school staff communicate really well and keep us up to date on all the need to knows. It's a great experience all around so far.

this is an EXCELLENT learning school for your littke ones! EXCELLENT 3K & 4K programs. They do so much for the kids as well as supply GREAT meals for them. My granddaughter will be graduating from her 4K class and I'm so sad she will have to leave. The staff is AMAZING! These past 2yrs have taught her so much. She's beyond ready for kindergarten! She has learned to read, write and all the other important things she needs to succeed for her next journey. THANK YOU for ALL you have done for her. We will ALWAYS love you!

Best best 3k school!!!! Serves greenpoint and Williamsburg as well with a free school bus with seat belts. Staff is amazing, all classrooms have windows and are spacious. School has a very nice outdoor patio with playground structures and tons of space. There is no school like this one for 3k in north Brooklyn.

My son has been in Headstart since Sept and we love it! He’s thriving and always walks in with a smile on his face! They have an outdoor playground. They do yoga, music, and soccer class weekly. Along with Puppets burg.

They also have school buses for children in Queens and Greenpoint, with crash tested safety harnesses. I also work in early childhood education and I can’t recommend Williamsburg headstart enough! I’m so glad we found them through other mom recommendations

This is a magical 3K and Pre-K school within the NYCDOE system! A "hidden" gem! Claire Howard's review below sums it all up perfectly. You will not find a more quality and loving environment for your child's 3K and Pre-K experience!
