I honestly can't say enough positive things about Wildfiber Studio. This has been my local yarn store for more than 20 years, and my crochet and knitting abilities would not be where they are today without the tutelage of Wildfiber Studio's warm, patient, and encouraging staff. I have taken part in an innumerable amoint of their classes over years and made priceless friendships in the process.
Their store itself, with its walls of colorful fiber and plush couches, has a cozy qualtiy that helps me relax even during stressful days. The space is nice and airy with natural light, and doesn't have that claustrophobic feel that I sometimes get at other shopping establishments (not specifically yarn stores, just shops in general).

Exceptional service - Terry walked me through basically every spool of yarn in the store, comparing and contrasting the textures and styles for my project. She stocks numerous ethical and high quality yarns that are perfect for any project.

As someone who has been knitting and crocheting for over 25 years, feeling out of place at a yarn store was a first for me. Aside from a greeting, it did not feel like a particularly welcoming location. Perhaps I wasn't dressed the part of a dedicated knitter? I did find a particular color of wool I had been looking for for a while, so I did buy the one thing, but I do not think I will be returning for anything else. Felt more like an upscale yarn boutique than a yarn shop I would feel comfortable perusing and purchasing from. However, I am glad I checked it out to satisfy my curiosity and kill a little time while I was in the area.

Quick edit; The Google pictures make it look like there is a lot more yarn than there actually is. It felt like there was a lot of empty space that could have held a lot more yarn options.

Went here today and I was blown away by how nice it was!! The service was so nice and friendly even though it was neat closing. They helped me find an excellent yarn and it was very affordable for the high quality. Very helpful and kind! I can’t wait to go back!

The store hardly had any yarn, but the yarn it had was pretty. Too bad I couldn’t buy any though. I left because the customer service was so bad.

I don't know what I did to annoy the salesperson when I walked into the shop, but it was clearly something. I have shopped here before (not often) and have always felt welcome and appreciated by the staff. This time was so different. Perhaps the salesperson was having a bad day. Perhaps she was too busy to want to make a customer feel comfy in the shop...I don't know. I was the only one in the shop! I did end up buying some things, but I'm now looking for another shop to go to. It makes me sad because this would be my local shop. I guess it just takes one brief encounter to set things off the wrong way.

Used to be an amazing multi craft teaching and supply store. Everything from knitting,weaving, dyeing, to spinning, bookbinding, basic wire jewelry and more. With friendly people that had years of experience and their joy was sharing and educating the next generation of craft people.

Now it’s a hotie-totie “we’re better than you” snag shop, that sells small balls of yarn for exorbitant prices… and heaven have mercy if you mention acrylic or blends so the sweater you’re making for the teen in college can be machine washed… they’ll turn on you like a kicked honey badger.
