Got a told a ride would be here in 40 min, 3 hours later still no ride, no call. They wouldn't pick up the phone to find out how much longer, and no way to leave a message... And not first time this happened. Not dependable for any kind of transportation.

I wish I could change this rating to -5 stars!
I wouldn't recommend this cab company to anyone. Their vehicles are disgusting and filthy. I'm not sure how any of the vehicles even have and inspection sticker cuz they are all about to fall apart.
I can't think of any other business where every single one of the staff are negative.
The drivers, the dispatch, doesn't matter-- Time for some new employees/owners, ECT. Their drivers are rude, disrespectful thieves.

Do yourself a favor and use a different cab company cuz this one sucks!

I’ve been being hauled to work every morning bright and early, and he’s been nothing but prompt and kind. In fact, he went out of his way to help my find my office building on the first day of my new job. The car was clean, and the fare is significantly cheaper than an uber. He’s been very reliable for me all week!

I wish I could rate the dispatcher 0 stars. I never usually have a problem with the drivers except when they pick up five people at one and most of them smell bad. The dispatcher is a pissed off
Lady, clearly. There is no empathy in her voice. She always has an attitude and is completely ruining the businesses. I've had many friends tell me be careful calling in she'll bite your head off. I wanted to have a time call. After she gave me lip then k asked nicely if she was busy and she said no. Proceeded to

Me attitude. I will never bring my business to friends business to them again. Maybe hire a new dispatcher with a friendly demeanor and I'll consider coming back. Considering I've been using you guys since you opened. Bad business

The male dispatcher, who I found out recently is the owner, has been nothing but exceptionally rude for about the past six months that I've used their service. When I call in and ask if they have someone available usually it takes them 10 to 15 minutes so I usually include that, I'm looking to leave for work in like 10 or 15 minutes... He constantly thinks that I need to know that they don't do a Time call... I'm not doing a time call. If it were to be at time call then Id call the night before or an hour early and request a pickup time. When I asked, it was regarding a time frame as in how long it will take for someone to get to me, like 10 or 15 minutes? That's a request for an ETA... Sometimes the driver that gets sent will take his time getting there and then I've been picked up late for work when I had called on time and the driver was late just to be informed that he was going to be even later by having to pick someone else up first, drop them off first, yet still charge me $10.50 one way? When it was $9.50 one way... I thought all of the cabs were relatively the same price but found out that apparently Al's is $2 less each way! Sadly they weren't open when I have called for service and had no choice in spending more money to get to where I needed to go that day.

Your review might have some credibility if we actually had vehicles that fit 5 passengers. But since we only have sedans and 1 SUV that can take 4 passengers or less, I wonder who you are really reviewing. Allow me to refer potential customers to our Facebook page /wickedgoodtaxi where people actually know what they're talking about

The customer is know exactly who they're talking about! Two years ago it might have been a different story, back then it was fast, affordable, pleasant service. Now the most Pleasant thing about the service is that the cars are somewhat decent... It's very disheartening, as someone who has to rely on public transportation specifically a cab some days to get to work, to see an owner of a business post a response like that showing that he has absolutely no care or compassion towards his Riders, the ones that pay him and make him his money.

I needed a ride to the store 3.1 miles away in Windsor during a mild ice storm and called them for a ride. She asked if I ever rode with them before and I told her no so she declined to give me a ride because I live outside of Augusta and I've not used their service before claiming they have received too many crank calls that send their drivers out of town. So I told her she just lost a legitimate sale and I hung up. Too bad because I have a $100 bill in my hand and was prepared to offer a nice tip.

Be there in 20 mins they said. Over an hour later my husband was still waiting. Driver never showed. He attempted to call them and they didn't answer. Wish I could give zero stars. Seeing the owners response to comments on here says enough about the company. Glad your business is doing so well that you can afford to be disrespectful instead of trying to improve your business. Btw my husbands fair was going to be $50. All he needed was a ride to the car rental company.

“Wicked” overpriced, rude drivers, and they never answer the phone. You get a machine saying their business hours and that they’re either closed or unable to answer the phone, but it doesn’t matter how many times you call back you get the same thing. I would recommend Kennebec taxi. They have cheap prices, friendly drivers, and they usually take about 20 minutes. Only downside is they’re not open on Sundays. I’d still rather take Als than call wicked good.
