Can't give most anyone 5 stars! Always room for improvement. I've been fully inspected a few times here, Always drive safe and do proper pretrips, and be respectful and courteous to others and you won't have any troubles. These officers are people to, and put their pants on the same as usual. They are doing what they are hired to do as we are and told how to do it! IT'S CALLED RESPECT. A LOT OF YOU SHOULD TRY IT SOMETIMES!!!

First day out driving with my trainer in a 53’ Dry Van, and I get pulled into the weigh station… then into a bay for a level 1 inspection!‍♂️

The inspector seems to have had a bad day and had an attitude from the start. My trainer, from the passenger seat matched his energy and snapped back at him. I thought for sure I was screwed.

Lucky for me, my pre-trip skills were validated and the tractor and trailer both passed with stickers placed on both!

Much respect to the inspector for simply doing his job and ignoring the arrogance of my trainer.

I pulled into the scale & immediately got sent to the inspection bays. Received a Level 1 inspection & got written up for a blown drive tire and air lines that were supposedly worn past regulations. Mind you these are the plastic lines & not the straight heavy duty ones. I looked at the lines & they had areas that weren't even worn through to where you see white...they were barely scuff marks but the inspector with no hesitation says "These are worn past DOT regulations...they're worn through to the white" even though there were NO white patches on the lines. Long story short....the inspectors will either find or fabricate a violation on your equipment when you get inspected. Make sure your stuff is maintained. Oh....make sure you have spare fuses on your truck. If they can't find anything the "slam dunk" infraction they will pin on you is not having spare fuses on your truck. Most drivers don't know this even though it's in the FMCSA Manual so be prepared!

Worst weigh station in the country would be an understatement. They fabricate lies to get you to pay the state for violations. There is no leniency here.

On duty safety is first. I'm sure you guys on the same page. But common, some human approach will only do good on the roads. When humanity stops, wars start. So please be respectful to the hard working US.

Way too long of a line to go through the Scale; Always be prepared to be told to "STOP!" "Go To Bay # (1-4)."
If you have any "possible questions" about your rig passing an inspection, get it done beforehand, or you'll have to get it done here.

A particularly annoying chicken coop. Avoid it if possible. No joy here whatsoever.

WHO is going to give a weight station a good review.? I get it they are doing a service, to honor and protect and all that.. but... if you look at how many weight stations are in California.. overkill is an understatement
