What a cute and charming art store! They have many wonderful, high quality art materials for a huge range of disciplines, for beginners to serious artists. The store also has a huge dedicated framing selection with custom frames made to order. They also have a lot of gift items and other small toys for sale there. Two standouts for me: they have a large selection of scrap matboards for purchase for cheap! And if you're a student or educator, you get a 20% discount on some items!

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff and so many, many wonderful art supplies!! I miss the time when the family-owned store was located in downtown Palo Alto, but the new location always has tons of parking.

I got what I needed along with Great Customer Service

While I miss the proximity of the Palo Alto store, this place is wonderful, has everything. I went in seeking some watercolor materials, procion dye for batik and a birthday gift for an artsy granddaughter. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. And , like the original UA, there's a wonderful selection of multiple media supplies , greeting cards, and arty and unusual gifts.

A unique artist supply store. Prices are average - better than some others. Outstanding selection. The customer service is what makes this gem shine. They have the best paper selection I've seen. They are very invested in students and teachers.

Good selection reasonable prices and plenty of free parking.
