We did both the MIT (MIT guide gentleman East African heritage formerly Caltech) and Harvard (GUIDE: Apple from Vietnam) walking tours. Both tours were excellent! Very professional, informative, and fun with history, what's being worked on now, the guides' personal stories (chairing, dropping the piano, recs-Harvard Business School, colorful.) We liked the MIT Tour a bit more only because we were able to go into some of the buildings, including a classroom. Highly recommend both tours! Remember to tip your guides. 🙂

Fun & Informative,
Shai in the was very helpful in rescheduling us when my group and I were delayed to start the tour.
Austin lead our MIT tour and Jacob lead our Harvard tour. They were both very knowledgeable and friendly and kept the each of their tour groups entertained with their banter. I will definitely reccomend this to anyone wanting to tour these universities!

FYI both Harvard and MIT offer free tours too.

But this is a good addition to the go city pass. It seems Harvard's free tours get booked fast, but with a go city pass you can just show up to this paid tour without booking it in advance.

For the MIT tour I preferred booking the free one from MIT because it had more timings, and it wasn't fully booked even though I only booked it one day in advance.

Our tour guide was Rotti or Rody (not sure how to spell it). They did a great job and provided a lot of info, also talked about student life.

Took us around the Harvard Yard, showed us the famous Harvard statue and important buildings like the Memorial Hall and Widener Memorial Library. And pointed out Bill Gates and Zuckerberg's dorms too.

It was amazing interacting with a current student.

Our guide Emma was incredibly knowledgeable and provided so much valuable insight. I highly recommend joining a tour rather than exploring on your own—it truly enhances the experience

We took a student-led tour which was hosted by Mary. The tour lasted about 45 minutes and hit most of the highlights around the main quad of campus where the dorms were. We checked out the dining hall, main library, science building and a few others. Mary shared a lot of interesting tid bits that you can only get with a tour which was nice. Overall, a great experience. Pro tip: Mary hung out afterwards and answered more specific questions which was nice for a prospective student. So, think about what you may want to ask so that you are prepared.

Harvard Tour was great!
Our group was led by Keshav, who just graduated from Harvard, Master's Degree in Human Development. He made the tour very interesting, and we have learned facts you can't find in a text books!

Update - I reached out to Trademark Tours with the screenshot of their reply on my review and was able to get my refund. I appreciate the response and have increased the stars.

I am writing this review about a recent experience I had with booking a Harvard Tour with Trademark Tours. I decided to go for it after looking at the stellar reviews. I even took 'refund protection' which I thought would be useful just in case. I needed to cancel a month earlier due to a change in travel plans but the tour company refused a refund stating that my reason does not qualify for a refund. Thankfully, I had booked my MIT tour with another company who refunded me the amount.

Note that almost all tour companies give you the freedom to cancel a booking (or part refund for last minute) in case you can't make it. Not this company. Their tours may be good but a ridiculous cancellation policy.

My recommendation is to stick to the free Harvard and MIT tours if those are available or choose a tour company that has a flexible cancellation policy.

We had an excellent tour with our guide Ines, even with the rain! She was very knowledgeable about all of the sites she took us to and it was great having a chat with her about Harvard and her upcoming semester abroad to Australia, which is where my family and I have travelled from.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about Harvard and definitely make sure you stop at the shop to grab some apparel and Pinnochio’s for a bite to eat!
