I have been to many acting coaches and teachers in LA. This is the best on camera acting class I have ever taken! I was referred by another acting teacher who is also a working actor(he works constantly and had significant roles in major movies) and took acting classes from Eric Kline.
He warned me that this is only for serious actors who really want to learn how to act on film, and it is true! Eric Kline helped a director win an academy award(he has a MA in Film and TV and has worked in the industry for over 30 years!) and has helped me book many roles. I love that he has intelligent advise and really knows how to direct his students to be good actors. Every night that I am in class I get to perform and get critiqued which I find helpful to learn rather than sit and wait and possibly never get seen like other hyped up acting teachers in LA. I highly recommend his private on camera coachings as well for auditions. I absolutely LOVE this school and Eric Kline's technique!

Best acting class in LA by far! I have never been anywhere else that offers what the workshop does for this great a price. The smaller classes allow for more one-on-one coaching time from Eric, which makes it feel almost like private coaching depending. On "shooting days" your scene is recorded on 4k cameras, which makes it so easy to see what Eric is talking about when he is giving you feedback. Also, the low cost is great because it allows you to take advantage of Eric's private audition coaching (which he also offers at a great rate) and also encourages students to buy copies of their tapes, which are great for first-time reel builders. All in all, if you need an acting class in Los Angeles, this is where you should start (and probably stay).

This is one of the best workshops for film acting in Los Angeles. The Tony Barr technique is super practical and specific, making it easy to apply in acting and coaching alike. Eric teaches the technique as Tony intended, and is very clear, specific and consistent in his coaching. Moreover, he's kind in his approach--nurturing an atmosphere of trust--while also pushing us to grow and improve our craft. If you're looking for a safe space to work on your acting, get experience in front of the camera, and build a sense of community, this is your class. I can't recommend it enough.
