This is the best school for martial arts if you want to get into it with a variety of things and skills you can acquire. I have been training here for 6 years and they have pushed me past my limits and I’m now doing things I did not think I was able to do ever and I don’t think I’m planning to leave anytime soon. the instructors are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing it teaches you discipline and respect and how to really stand up for yourself.

I attended this school for 14 years from age 4-18. A lot of my core values were learned and developed here. Chhoeun and Andrew are dedicated instructors who exemplify the oath and tenets of Taekwon-Do. I would encourage anyone who is interested in learning a martial art to choose Thy’s Taekwondo-Do.

I cannot recommend this school enough! My kids have grown in all areas of their lives thanks to Thys Taekwondo and their amazing leadership and teachings. The Tenets of Taekwondo which the school follows engrain strong core values and work ethic. Everything here is earned by each persons hard work and with that comes deep respect for themselves and especially their teachers. Thys Taekwon do is a family and you feel that from the moment you or your family joins.

Our son has been a student since November of 2022 and has learned so much in that short amount of time! Taekwondo has become the one thing that he has completely dedicated himself too 100%. Sabum Thy and Boosabum Evans are highly dedicated to their art and teach in a manner that utilizes both fun and discipline,both of which are needed these days! You would be doing your children (and yourselves, should you also choose to join) a great service in becoming students!

This is, by far, the best martial arts school in Southern Maine. The focus on the tenets of Taekwondo, disciplined approach to educating students, and application of real-life scenarios prove this school uses a holistic approach to ensure their students are properly trained. Time and again, there students medal at tourneys, especially in Gyoroogi I have five children of varying ages that have trained here, two of which are black belts that were hard earned and not just paid for like some Dojangs.
