Both my children have attended (and continue to attend) the Royal Academy. They have learned to play musical instruments, as well as participated in several Art Camps.

The Music teachers are so knowledgeable and engaging. And have helped my young kids come out of their shells and push themselves to their full potential.

Lynn at the front desk wears many hats. And She is very organized and friendly. Always replying to our messages, emails and phone calls in a timely manner. She is so very kind and you can tell she loves where she works.

Connie, the owner ( and educator), is also always available and present. She is a wonderful face for the business. Every time I see her she is busy either welcoming new clients and families, interacting with the students arriving, and never misses an opportunity to greet the parents too.
It’s obvious she has created a successful business but also a caring family environment.

Thank you for all you do for my family and so many others. My kids look forward to their classes and special events there.

I've had the pleasure of teaching music at the Royal Academy Of Arts and Education for 5 years. I've been teaching for 19 years at many different music studios throughout Ontario and The Royal Academy is by far the best. It is regularly cleaned, is a very welcoming space and all the teachers are passionate about what they do. All around, it's a great environment for students of all ages to learn.

I highly recommend lessons either in music, arts or tutoring!

If I could give this academy a lower star rating, I absolutely would. I am appalled by management, or lack there of I should say. My daughter has been attending classes here for nearly two years. This previous term I was over charged $225 without my knowledge on a credit card they have continuously kept on file after numerous times of asking them to remove – this is not the first time this has happened.

In addition, we were not notified of what day/time my daughter would be attending classes for February’s term as schedules tend to change based on availability with the instructors. I received an email from the academy’s receptionist, Lynn Brammall, stating when my daughter could make up her missed classes (now totaling 3 for the month of Feb) however, her email was so unclear and so unprofessional that I decided to go into the academy to better understand what it was she was trying to relay and figure out the new schedule going forward – AND be reimbursed the $225 I was over charged.

Lynn then proceeded to tell me that although the classes were paid for, my daughter would not be able to make up her missed time and we would not be reimbursed - contradicting to what her original email has stated. I pay nearly $400 per term, and if these missed classes have already been paid for, I feel that the academy should either reimburse me the money or allow my daughter to make her classes up.

One would think the academy could be more accommodating given the HUGE error on their end but instead, I was talked down to in such a condescending manner, we will NOT be going back. To the owner of the Royal Academy – please reconsider who you have acting as your first point of contact. I would have NEVER expected such horrible service from what I thought was a very reputable music company.

My children have attended Royal Academy of Arts and Education for 9 years for tutoring (2 years), guitar/ukelele lessons (5 years), and piano lessons (9 years), even a few art and cake decorating classes. We have always appreciated the teachers/instructors for their encouragement, and guidance and the administration for their professionalism.

When your kids run to get ready for music class without any arguments then you know you have found the place for them. From the front desk who greet us with a smile to teachers who connect to your children and inspire them to excel. My children have found trusted adults and a welcoming artistic environment.

Truly amazing! Not only did she help my daughter to read, she built her confidence and now she enjoys reading and is now getting A's and B's across the board. She also encouraged us to reward her with an art class and she absolutely flourished in it.

The teachers are amazing, caring and very professional. Especially through this lockdown my sons tutoring over zoom has been the best part of his week. We’ve even continued through the summer.
Thank you Royal Academy!
