I thoroughly enjoyed the 4 week beginner class at The Mudd House. The environment is so cute and fun, and I felt very comfortable while learning all the steps. Reilly was a great teacher! She was so friendly and knowledgeable. Even the other employees and patrons of Mudd House were nice and made me feel welcome to try. I love that they recycle the clay, and I can't wait to see how my pieces turned out! (Edit) picked up my amazing pieces, I couldn’t be more stoked that they all made it!! I want to do more now!

Received a gift certificate and used it for a group class. A full class of 8 people but still intimate where you can learn and have fun. Annie was our instructor and she was helpful and very involved with having us finish a masterpiece. Definitely a fun place to learn how to throw and make pottery! Will be back!

This is such an amazing studio! If you’ve never done pottery before or just want to have a fun date night or hang with your friends, their Happy Hour is a blast. We also learned they have a ton of different workshops and lessons if you’re a bit more experienced. All in all, 11/10!

Incredible experience! It was our first time throwing and we went to the Thursday Happy Hour. Super approachable and a great time with Annie! Would 10/10 recommend, whether you’re new or you’ve thrown before!

I participated in the open studio session for wheel throwing. It was my first time there and Gracie welcomed me kindly then showed me around. While it wasn’t an instructionally led group, Gracie was available to answer questions without hesitation. It’s a warm and open setting and my friends and I had a great time.

I took my son to the Mudd house to learn how to do pottery on a wheel. What an amazing experience. Annie was the instructor. She is the best. We had a blast. We made several pieces. Will be going back in a couple of weeks to glaze everything. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing experience! Looks so easy but really have to work for your unique piece. SO worth it!!! Can’t wait to see what the final product glazed looks like! Reilly was such a patient instructor, giving creative freedom but helping when things get off a bit. It’s a bit messy but so fun! I highly recommend for an event with friends or thanks to our kids for this memorable Christmas gift card!
