Carrie Diamond provides an amazing experience in her Saturday morning Intermediate level ballet class. Her virtual class helps one feel that they are in the studio with the other class members. She is organized, obviously well trained, and provides an expertly designed barre and center that is musical & demanding. The Dance Hub is most certainly the best location for dance in Santa Barbara!

Having taken ballet class for many years as a child and teenager, I have often dreamed of returning as an adult but found the idea of it so intimidating after so many years. I finally discovered Carrie's foundational classes at The Dance Hub and I can't imagine a more welcoming and supportive environment to begin ballet again! Carrie is so positive and makes ballet accessible for everyone, no matter your experience or physical ability. If you have wanted to return to ballet after a long break, or if you have ever dreamed of dancing but have been too intimidated, I encourage you to take the leap and join one of Carrie's classes!

Carrie Diamond is so patient with us dancers. Most of us haven't taken a dance class in many years so we are rusty. Carrie makes sure we are practicing proper technique. She also keeps it fresh and fun.

Best selection of adult ballet classes in Santa Barbara, all levels! Instructor Carrie Diamond makes an effort to give you feedback, no matter your skill level, and you will improve! Also we rented the smaller studio for several months and found it very clean and spacious and reasonably priced. Great experience here overall, everyone I've met has been so nice 🙂

The Dance Hub is a great school and a beautiful studio. I’ve been taking ballet here with Carrie Diamond for a year, starting with the Absolute Beginner course and then moving into the open beginning ballet class. Carrie’s style of teaching is approachable, clear, and fun, with lots of attention to technique and physiology. The live piano music in the Saturday class is a real treat as well! The Dance Hub has also hosted some great workshops that I’ve enjoyed.

This studio is geared toward adult students no matter your age or skill level, and teaches proper classical ballet technique. I take four classes a week and this is my anchor! Ballet classes run from very beginning to intermediate/advanced to pointe. There’s opportunity for performances if that’s what you’re looking for (I’m not 😀). Huge studio with state of the art floor. Carrie, the director, teaches strict Cechetti style and Suzi teaches Vaganova. Personal attention from professionals. I love this studio!

Carrie Diamond is an amazing ballet instructor no matter what your age. She is a caring and observant teacher. The Dance Hub's floor is a state-of-the-art sprung dance floor which means that the floor gives when you jump on it, protecting your joints. I highly recommend The Dance Hub!

I never thought I’d be starting ballet as an adult. I’ve been dancing a variety of genres for about 4 years now, many of which include elements of ballet. I’m finally rounding out my dance repertoire with this fundamental component. Carrie leads an excellent and fun adult beginners class which always includes an emphasis on form and technique. This is the real deal. In addition, the floor is springy, the studio modern and we are blessed with live piano accompaniment on Saturdays. There are also many other instructors here with interesting and different classes - flamenco, modern, Afro Brazilian, etc... I can’t recommend the Dance Hub enough!
