Our daughter started Sylvan about 2 months ago and we are already seeing her progress! From the initial assessment to starting her first day and now attending for a couple months, the communication has been on point and we appreciate that every kiddos journey is completely tailored to their needs. Plus our daughter also loves going there! Miss Joy and her team of wonderful instructors make her feel super comfortable and welcome every session! We are very pleased with everything so far. Definitely recommend looking into if your kiddo needs extra educational support … I only regret not starting her earlier.

We’ve been with Sylvan Westlake for about 8 weeks, and the results have exceeded our expectations. I have a very happy child thanks to Joy and her team at Sylvan Learning Center! My daughter is in kindergarten and started the school year unwilling to try, shutting down, and discouraged to do her work. Thanks to sylvan making her work around students who are older, giving her encouragement, and showing her she can do it she comes out every class with a big smile saying how good she did! I have seen the progress inside the classroom when I volunteer, at home during homework, and when we are just reading books or counting numbers. This is one happy mother! Thank you Joy and specifically Mr. Sam for all you do!

I cannot recommend Sylvan enough! My 2nd grader has been there since mid-1st grade, including the summer session. His confidence has skyrocketed and he's absolutely thriving at school. He's even received 3 A's in a row on his last few math tests. We are thrilled - and so is he!

They truly take your child's success to heart and their unique perspective has helped me better understand where my child has room for improvement. Their communication with parents is wonderful and they are always available to discuss your child's progress. The director, Miss Joy, is a passionate educator and a true partner for the parents of the students attending.

We had such a positive experience with this Sylvan center, run by Joy. All of the teachers are welcoming and ready to help the students. My child began in the summer as a way to keep up with what he learned during the year. Now has confidence and an eagerness to learn. He has progressed through the program and is able to focus better. I believe by the end of summer, he will be ready for the new school year. Overall, we recommend this program and this center in particular.

Sylvan is a great learning center that truly does personalize each student's learning plan. As a tutor here the most rewarding part of the job has been seeing each student's ability to progress in their understanding of concepts and feel more confident in their academic abilities.
