I’ve already recommended Sylvan Learning Center. While the cost is somewhat high, the no-interest financing options make it manageable for me. The investment feels worth it to help my daughter catch up in reading and writing, especially since she hasn’t been receiving the support she needs at school.

My daughter loves all of her teachers, which suggests they are well-compensated to attract such great educators—another factor that makes it worth the cost.

I’ve noticed significant improvements in her reading, and she is beginning to enjoy it more. She loves the reward system so much that she’s already thinking ahead to her birthday in 6 months, hoping she’ll still be enrolled to earn the birthday rewards. She’s always thrilled when she gets to use her tokens at the store.

Sylvan Santa Rosa has helped my 2nd grader tremendously!! He was having a hard time catching on and working through his ELA, but now he is prepared for 3rd grade! We first came to Sylvan after hearing first hand from a few families how they felt about the program. My daughter was struggling a bit with reading. I waited, I thought she just needed more books. So I bought more books, she read, I read to her. But still, she was behind her peers. So I called Sylvan and they were able to pinpoint the areas where my daughter needed help. So we signed up, thinking it would last for a few weeks, maybe a few months. That is probably what most kids do, attend for a period of time and then that’s it. I found that my daughter benefitted greatly in the beginning, but then - she kept on benefitting and she was starting to love her time working with her Sylvan tutor. Sometimes she learns things with her Sylvan tutor before she learns them in class! I have watched my struggling 1st grader turn into a top 3rd grade student. She was a student who would never raise her hand, not because she was shy, but because she had no idea what the answer was. Now, she raises her hand proudly with the answer in her head. And it’s so much more than that, her confidence in the classroom carries with her all day. I give Sylvan so much credit for that. They do an amazing job on zoom or in the center. The tutors are amazing! There is no better gift than the gift of education!!

They have helped our family in a way that is nothing short of amazing! No more fighting and crying over homework, thank you god! All 3 of our children have attended Sylvan and they are doing wonderful in school. We live in a small rural town with little resources and they are stretched thin. Our youngest daughter was really struggling in school and we had done all we could to help her but knew we needed to get her in to Sylvan, her big sister went and it changed her life. Our little girl had tested at a 5th grade level in math and reading when she was tested, and she is in 8th grade. Needless to say we were desperate to get her help.
