Sylvan Learning of Santa Monica is an amazing place for tutoring. My son is always excited to go to Sylvan and learn new math and get some quiet time to read. The team is friendly and always ready to help. Ed has been super supportive and welcoming. He is extremely understanding and cares about the kids. He wants to make sure that each kid gets the help that is needed and assists in tailoring the tutoring sessions based on the needs. I appreciate everything that Ed and the team does.

There are a lot of places to choose from when it comes to tutoring but none compare to the Sylvan Learning of Santa Monica. Ed takes pride in custom tailoring the tutoring to meet the educational needs of each student. But what is truly unique about this location is that Ed not only wants them to succeed, but to instill a sense of pride, confidence and accomplishment in each student both academically and emotionally. The program is engaging and my daughter loves going there and cant wait for her next lesson. Sylvan of Santa Monica makes learning fun which is priceless, as are the visible results. We are lucky to have found this location, it is a gem, in large part because of Ed, who runs the program.

This Sylvan is a very special place. I know Ed, the head of this Sylvan center, cares deeply about our children’s academic and emotional well-being. Sylvan of SM is wonderful! Ed is the supervisor and is incredibly attentive to the kids and their parents' needs. He responds to my texts and calls right away. He is very invested in the kids' success. AND, most importantly, my teenage daughter has never once expressed an unwillingness to go, which is saying a lot for a place that makes you do schoolwork!

We were searching for a writing tutor for our daughter. We were happy to find out there was a Sylvan Learning Center located in Santa Monica. We set-up an assessment and that’s when we met the owner Ed, who was very welcoming and informative. We ended up signing up our younger daughter as well. Both our daughters enjoy coming here and working with Mel. They are extremely motivated by their token incentive program. We definitely recommend this place for anyone needing academic help.
