My children, 8 and 3, participated in swim lessons through Sunshine Swim School for several months this year and made tremendous progress during that time. Their teacher Sarah was incredibly thoughtful and effective at making the lessons fun and keeping the kids engaged, while helping them build necessary skills. Sunshine swim was a great experience for our 3 year old daughter! She learned so much from the one on one instruction with her awesome swim teacher, Sarah. Also, having Sarah show up at our house made swim lessons super convenient — no locker rooms and hour or two long prep and drive time for a 30 min lesson! If you have access to a pool, I highly recommend signing up for lessons — we will be back when the weather gets warmer!

When we started working with Sunshine Swim, my 4 year old wouldn’t leave the steps of the pool. Less than 1 year later of semi-regular lessons and he’s opening his eyes underwater and actually looks forward to playing in water. Both of my kids are now close to being able to swim and they love their instructors.

Hi!
We started lessons with Talia 2 months ago, going 2x a week with our sons (5 & 9yrs). Our youngest is generally not a fearful child when it comes to physical sports, but with swimming he was. He would hold on very tightly, wouldn't dive for toys, never did any kicking, floating, strokes or flipping- he can now do all of these skills! I think with a bit more time I think he will be swimming completely on his own. Our eldest son knew how to swim a bit, but wasn't strong enough to do laps or float long enough to feel comfortable. He has had even fewer lessons and we can already see the confidence and see his skills refined. It's really amazing to see that lessons do work! Talia is very patient, playful, calm and yet gently firm in her teaching approach. I would highly recommend Sunshine Swim Lessons. They will get your child(ren) to be water safe and go beyond that level should you want to. Thank you Talia for teaching our children how to swim, one of the most important life skills.
