Stuttgart Municipal Airport

10/10 - would totally get stuck in a thunderstorm here again. Unsure of amenities offered, but the tarmac offered a nice view of the surrounding skies.

I come from Stuttgart (Germany) and my dream is to some day have a direct flight from Stuttgart (Germany) to Stuttgart (Arkansas). When this happens I will give the full 5 Star Rating. Please make this happen.

My best friend and college room mate is from Stuttgart, Germany. His biggest wish has always been, to once fly on a direct flight, from Stuttgart to Stuttgart... Especially now, since we live in a house with the number 63 and the airport is located on highway 63, we believe it is a since from the devine. Dear officials of the Stuttgart municipal airport, please sponsor us a flight from stuttgart to Stuttgart so we can live and fulfill the dream of a little boy from stuttgart.

I first jumped here. It was different then, 1981. About an hour class. Two jumps with a static line then your on your own. Free fall! All before tandem became the norm. We used 28' Army surplus 'chutes. Then came down fast. This field was a WWII bomber training base, or so I was told. It sure looked like it.

Great place to visit. Especially, during hunting season, the turn around service for fueling a jet is phenomenal.

Good place for birding.
