my son Chase and his friend Erik attended for a few weeks in summer and they had a blast. Tommy has great instructors that keep the kids safe and in fun activities in between the surf lessons.

My kids had a great introduction to surfing with Stinson Beach Surf Camp! The camp provides the boards, the wetsuits, and even the cool surfer dudes and dudettes! I recommend it. My kids were quite confident the next time we surfed (in warmer waters).

Giving this a good instead of great. The surfing lessons sound great and my daughter loves going. She's gone a few years in a row now. The downside is that there is a big lack of communication. It's hard to get a response via e-mail when there are questions. Also, it's never very clear about the shuttle bus that the kids take there. The camp need more communication. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend.

My son is a royal pain in the ass, but Tommy "got" him, and he got him HOOKED on surfing! Did a two hour lesson, with two other kids, and all three of them were up on their boards in under an hour. They all are signed up for the full week of camp this summer.

Tommy is the real deal. Who cares if he was a no-show when we booked him and had to reschedule or if he ditched us in the middle of the ocean or if he was missing wetsuit equipment and my feet froze? The guy was legit and we still wanna go back (seriously).
