When I went to st. Ignatius the teachers were mostly priests. My high school tuition was higher than my college tuition. The education I received was first class and it is better today. If you are looking for a school for your child look at this school and I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

One of the best high schools in state. But the price per child is astounding! Scholarship offered but you will never get a straight answer on applying for scholarship. The sports programs are ok but if you have a great athlete another catholic school may be better choice. Track, soccer, and tennis programs competitive...

Daughter graduated in June 2018, SICP provides a very solid academic foundation for college and instills in their students a sense of responsibility towards the community. As parents we found the school to be a great investment towards our daughter's future. BTW, many of her grammar school friends attended Jones, Whitney Young and Latin and those too are excellent schools.

I’m a mother and have never experienced such rude and disrespectful kids towards adults. Basketball game earlier today was my worst experience ever. They were beyond rude and made parents and other fans move seats after half time. If that was the students section, they should of been there on time instead of being rude and kicking people out of their seats. The worst part is that the staff was there and didn’t fk nothing about it. The staff should of been there on time to hold the cheering seats for them. Instead they kicked adults and even senior citizens out their seats. Total disrespect and unprofessional,

I attended Ignatius my freshman year of highschool (2011-2012) and I have to say that I do love this school. Rigorous academic, tons of courses to choose from, dozens of clubs for students to join, the list can go on and on. The school has transitioned to being an all iPad school, and while I cannot personally speak about how it works with the school as a whole, there is generally positive feedback about the transition. Aside from that, the location of the school is also superb. Right beside Taylor street which, if you don't know, is full of a ton of Italian restaurants. It's definitely a nice experience and everyone who has ever attended this school has definitely fallen in love with it.

This school is an extension of the LaGrange and Hinsdale country clubs. It has little resemblence of a normal high school experience. If you're not a wealthy western suburban student, you won't get much academically or socially from this place.
