Deb and Deb worked with us to build a creative and fun birthday part for our middle school daughter. It was fantastic! I've attended two events at Spark Ceramics' studio - one with my daughter and one with a group of friends - and both were amazing experiences. The time flew by as Deb and Deb provided a phenomenal balance of teaching, support, and letting us "play," all the while creating a fun and creative environment. The pieces we made (a chip and dip with my daughter and a bowl with my friends) are both beautiful and, even better, remind us of the time we had together. I'd highly recommend Spark for parent-child events, corporate team building, girls nights, birthday parties, or for anyone who wants to tap into their creative side for a few hours.

Wow! What an amazing experience! Deb and Deb are truly masters of their craft, they are also masters of making people feel comfortable and at ease. I had my birthday at Spark with 9 of my close friends and everyone loved every minute. So fun to be able to play in the studio. There was just the right amount of freedom to create what you desire, and instructions so you have a solid direction with your work. I’m definitely coming back!

What a relaxing way to end a busy day! Happy hours and workshops with the Debs are a relaxing and creative way to lose yourself in a fun medium. They are both long-time former educators in the SF Bay Area school systems and you can feel their unique and warm way of working with each student. I can't wait to try another workshop with friends, family and colleagues. You will not be disappointed!

I attended a Spark Ceramics pop-up at Succulence in Bernal Heights. The environment was casual and friendly and the instructors (Deb and Deb) were great - informative but also really fun. I made saki cups that I love and actually use. Went with a friend and neither of us had any prior experience with ceramics but both left patting ourselves on the back about what we made. The cheese plate and wine options were pretty awesome too!
