we love Soundcheck! my daughter has taken classes here for over 3 years now and she is really improving her skills and gaining a lot of experience performing and learning all she can. She is a multi faceted musician and we know that her teachers have done a ton toward her success in music that is to come !

My daughter loves this school! We moved to Simi Valley and still come down for her lessons. Everyone one is so friendly and talented. We love soundcheck music school! Electra has also always been so helpful and flexible. Communication is awesome. My daughter loves her singing coach, Kristelle and getting to know her new guitar coach, Lefteris…Which has been going awesome.

After looking through scores of schools for my daughter as a musician, vocalist and super picky mom, I finally found this gem of a school and am forever grateful. The owner, Electra is about as sweet, knowledgable and committed to both her school and the students as you could hope for. In addition to excellent, customized classes that are made to fit individual student needs, they put on a fantastic show at a major venue biannually that not only provides students with the opportunity to perform live at a professional event but also builds their confidence and skillset immensely. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Through my career I have had many vocal teachers, but Electra at SoundCheck Music School is by far been the best. She can work with you on any level, from Classical, to Musical Theatre, to Pop, to Rock. She is very diverse and has the most effective techniques as well. In addition to this, she is the sweetest person too. I adore working with her. They also have excellent piano, guitar and drumming instructors as well. My daughter wants to learn an instrument as well, and as soon as she chooses one, SoundCheck Music School is where I will be taking her for lessons.

We have been taking lessons at SoundCheck for years. Both of my kids' singing abilities have improved substantially....as well as their confidence thanks to the live shows. We tried several music schools prior to settling on SoundCheck and there are a few reasons they stood out compared to other schools in the Valley.

SoundCheck is filled with musicians who love what they do and it feels like you are part of something instead of just a paying customer that comes and goes. Where other schools felt chaotic, SoundCheck is very organized. Where other schools do recitals and feel kind of stiff, SoundCheck does rockin live shows.

I highly recommend this school if you want the whole experience of being a musician in a band.
