What a fantastic facility here in Sonoma, (Santa Rosa). They have everything you'll need to get yourself in shape, and find the locals in the community. Great place to spend some time, clean locker rooms, cool basketball gym, excellent free-weights and plenty of cardio equipment to go around. I really enjoyed the interior design, colors and light, plus how they left some of the original building exposed! The front desk was always a breeze, and I'm a visitor, so that added value to my experience each time I visited! Nice job Sonoma County! Get yourself in here!

Very nice people who run this facility. The staff and the members who join the Y community here is unlike any other gym or health club. The people are kind, down to Earth and supportive. The showers, pool, childcare and workout machines are clean. It's one of the nicest YMCA's I've been to. The pool is large and the aquatic classes I hear are awesome. Also, easy and safe parking in the back.

I wanted to love this place. The gym and locker rooms are clean. But while in the shower I heard a man in the locker room and was joined by him in the shower. As a survivor of sexual assault it was very triggering to see a naked man in the women’s locker room. The YMCA allows this. I have 2 young daughters. More specific guidelines need to be in place for transgender individuals who are not medically transitioned. Absolute deal breaker.

Daycare and swimming lessons for children, yoga and dance for adults, weightlifting inside and outside, the best health club experience you will get. Plus excellent parking. YMCA is a Sonoma Family Treasure.

We were excited and honored to film the Sonoma County Y's first 3D virtual tour! In partnership with GO LOCAL. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming!! Michelle the COO here is a very sweet woman and is running this place beautifully! The facility is incredible - large pools, lots of workout equipment, classes, daycare, camps and so much more. One of the most amazing Y's!

I have been enjoying the heated, indoor pool. I take the aqua aerobics class and do lane swimming. The staff is friendly and helpful and the locker room is kept clean.

Just started with the YMCA. I am mainly here for working out in their weight room. I am really enjoying the exhilarating feeling of getting back in shape with like minded people. The weight room is large with a variety of equipment, with personnel on hand to assist in proper use of machines. The facility has equipment that will appeal to the beginner, on up to more advanced individuals, all in a quest together to achieve healthier bodies and minds.

As a first time visitor I was disappointed at the lack of information about just the basics. Like where the locker room was, how to know which lockers to use, how to access the pool, how the swimming lanes were organised? No one seemed to be paying any attention to the signs at the end of the lanes. The staff seemed bored and not interested in being asked questions . I really wanted to like this place, so I'm bummed.
