Todd is the best... He is so good with dogs, and with people too (which is half of the equation, right?). He empowered my 76-year-old aunt to handle a (pretty crazy) 90+ lb dog safely. Then when my aunt passed away, he kindly offered to give the new owner a lesson to bring them up to speed on his training. Completely decent human being, and the training was reasonable and so worth every penny. I will look no further for training or boarding needs in the future. Thank you Todd! 🤗💕

We feel fortunate to have found Todd at Sniff Squad. Todd taught our 7 month border collie puppy so much in the weeks she spent with him. He carefully tailored her training program to address her specific needs and our goals for her. Todd also helped us grow leaps and bounds as owners. He patiently transferred her training to us through his daily social media stories and one on one training sessions. He still answers questions we have and does some follow up training with her. Not only is Todd the best trainer, but he’s super nice person too.

We can’t thank Todd enough for his positive approach to training Bosco and us. A year ago we adopted our one year old, 67 lb. yellow lab. Bosco was very difficult to walk on a leash and definitely had a mind of his own. Todd worked wonders and not only is leash walking a pure joy but he is great off leash, socializes well with other dogs and people, and even behaves nicely when out to lunch!
Bosco continues to enjoy regular outings with the Sniff Squad day program for additional exercise and fun adventures. As a real bonus, we boarded Bosco with Todd for 2 weeks while we were on vacation and felt peace of mind knowing Bosco was in the best of hands.

My family had a great experience with Sniff Squad Dog Training. Todd helped us correct some issues our two golden retrievers were having when socializing with other dogs. Just two group training sessions with Todd made a huge difference in their behavior and in our confidence to continue to train them ourselves. Todd is an Amazing trainer. He is very patient and is so good with Gus. He explains everything to us so we understand why the specific approach works and how to continue to practice and reinforce it . In just 5 sessions my puppy has learned sit, down, place, leave it, and "home." We have a lot of sessions planned and I cant wait to teach Gus some more advanced behaviors. Highly Recommend!

Sniff Squad is the best!!! I am so grateful to Todd for turning my puppy into a well-behaved adult doggy with MANNERS that I can take in public with total confidence. I adopted a 100lb 8 year old rescue dog who had zero training after a life of neglect. He had lived outside only and was pretty out of control. Todd transformed him into an absolute prince. The best part is that he did it all through positive methods and taught me how to do the work at home so we can keep it going. His patience (with animals and humans) is extraordinary and he was the perfect trainer for us. Big Mac is so happy and confident now thanks to Sniff Squad and I could have never gotten him to this place without Todd. He is the real deal. His videos are amazing too!

We found Todd in Santa Barbara because we were looking for a trainer for our puppy, Indie, who needed some extra socialization with a pack of dogs and basic training. Todd has exceeded our expectations with every session. He is personable, kind and an excellent dog trainer and communicator. His methods work, and he creates a trusted bond with each dog while working with them. We appreciate his clear, firm approach with lots of rewards. Indie looks forward to every all-day session with the pack and so do we! It’s very helpful to know your dog is at “school” having fun and learning on the days we are extra busy working. Todd goes so far as to pickup and drop off each dog for the day pack program from your home. Would highly recommend Todd!
