My daughter has been studying piano with Natalya Karamyan since the age of 10. She is a high school student now and passed the advanced level of the CM test of MTAC this year.
Natalya is a very professional piano instructor, has a methodical approach to teaching music, exacting but adjusts the teaching ways to each student individually. With Natalya, my daughter learned that music is not only art where you can play beautiful pieces, but it is also a very structured science which takes years and patience to master. I have no education in music but help my daughter with motivation and encouragement.
I highly recommend Natalya as a great educator with whom many academic goals are highly achievable.

Mrs. Karamyan is very knowledgeable and experienced in piano education. She approaches teaching with great seriousness and passion, evident in the detailed feedback she provides, the well-organized notes she creates for her students, and the open line of communication she maintains with parents. I am also grateful for her ability to adapt her teaching style as my child matures and according to the specific needs of each student pursuing different levels.

I have been receiving piano lessons from master teacher Natalya Karamyan for eight years. Recently she has opened the Silicon Valley Second School, which I now attend. She is very professional in her work and very passionate for students. Natalya is highly skilled and knowledgeable about piano and music in general. During lessons she is very kind and understanding. Through her keen ear, she picks songs suitable for the student and teaches children of any age about music. She is a member of the Music Teacher's National Association and the American College of Musicians. Her expertise has helped me pass all my Certificate of Merit tests and score well on National Auditions. One of my duet partners is also under Natalya's instruction and has received several silver medals in the United States Open Music Competition. I have developed a growing love for piano and learned many great pieces. Natalya Karamyan is an excellent piano teacher and I am happy to be taught by her.
