Kim Sheets is not only an incredible teacher, but she has become an amazing friend. I started lessons with Mrs. Kim while in jr. high, and continued through my audition to be in the ASTATE choir (2013). She is not only knowledgeable, but dedicated to her students. She made each lesson fun and engaging. Some of my favorite memories during that time in my life were from competitions we would travel to. I cannot recommend her enough!

Ms. Sheets is a wonderful vocal teacher. She gave me lessons from junior high through college. She taught me so much during those lessons and helped me to have the confidence to use all that she taught me. She was always encouraging. She let me know her expectations and helped me to reach my goals. I always had a great time with her. She fostered my love of all types of music!

I always Loved to sing and decided to take lessons at LYON College in Batesville, Arkansas to improve my ability. Kim Sheets was the Teacher. We had so much fun! Kim taught me skills of classical singing; which is such an art.
I learned how to breathe properly, how to project my voice and reach higher notes and most importantly, how to protect my vocal chords from damage when singing. She is so knowledgeable and I feel so grateful that I was her student. ❤

Mrs. Sheets was Great to work with extremely patient and kind. I starting going to Strengthen my voice for a reunion show for my former band. I hadn’t been singing much and couldn’t sing more than a few songs. Not only did my voice strengthen but she taught me to sing from different places in my head and not just from my throat. I’m a Baritone and she had me singing notes that I would never had reached if not for the techniques she taught me. She is excellent at what she does!!

I have very fond memories of Mrs. Sheets and I value the experiences I was granted under her leadership. I took private voice lessons from her from middle school through high school. Mrs. Sheets taught me valuable vocal lessons that earned me many awards and many acceptances in competitive vocal groups across the country. I have known Kim for a long time! We went to high school and college together. When I was teaching high school choir, Kim came up several times to work with the women of the Camdenton choirs. Each time she transformed their sound. She is an expert in vocal production and is able to explain and model proper vocal technique and placement. She is a gifted teacher and her students excell!
