Stayed at The Barn over New Years. A few things weren't working and you constantly had to reset the on demand hot water heater, the wood burning stove was tagged non operational so it was a bit cold, the windows overlooking the Ocean were dirty inside and out. With the awesome views of ocean that is the attraction that should be a priority. The place over all was dirty.
Everything else was adequate. Plenty of things for cooking , and having a very relaxing time.
I enjoyed myself but wouldn't stay in the Barn ever again. We looked at a few others that made it look dumpy.

Stayed in Webb house with husband and friends. Amazing experience. We really enjoyed the place. It’s our 6th stay in the area and we truly love the nature and the local vibe. All the restaurants are 15 mins away which sounds really good. Every stay is a pure joy. Booked another property for my upcoming birthday. Highly recommend

Stayed in Fitzgerald House about three weeks ago for 9 nights. What a fabulous experience. The home was incredible and working with Sea Ranch Escape was flawless. We have rented many homes through VRBO, but they don’t compare to the personal service we received from a local company. We will always rent from Sea Ranch Escape in the future……see you in November!

I stayed at the Gregg House and that view provided was spectacular! I took so many shots of the same coastline but each one was uniquely different. The colors of the sunset are not something to be missed!
The house itself was gorgeous and accommodating for any group. I made good use of the propane grill and whipped up dinner in less than an hour for 7 people.

Stingy owner takes advantage of visitors

Our stay at The Driftwood started normal, until we received a message from Vacasa that the premise only allowed 6 people, and we had to be unreasonably charged 100 per person each night or leave. Apparently the front entrance camera was used to spy on visitors and not for safety.

Note that the website description also emphasized that the 6 people were adults, so the 3 extra toddlers (not even at kindergarten) had to be charged extra for a total of 900 dollars (3 nights).

Knowing this, some of us decided to evacuate the premise on the 3rd night, however the owner refused to refund us one night potion when Vacasa initially agreed, proclaiming they can't verify how many people actually left. (But it was convenient for them to confirm how many arrived).

The entire experience made our mother's day experience horrid. The unprofessionalism of Vacasa and the stingy owner makes the overall experience awful, needless to mention, the following:

1. Hot water shower last for 15 minutes
2. Trash bin is filled when we arrived so we can't throw out any more when they are cayote crowling nearby.
3. Spider-webs throughout the house
4. Some pots and pans are unusable, please bring your own.
5. Not enough lights, very dimmed lights during the evening.

And so on.

My family has rented from Sea Ranch Escape many times over many years. They have the best collection of rental homes at The Sea Ranch. The homes we have rented are always clean and well maintained. The staff is attentive and the homes are well-stocked with necessities. We always rent homes which are used frequently by the owners. A rental agency can only do so much. It is up to the owner to keep the place looking good and fresh.

Working with Sea Ranch Escapes was one of the worst rental home experiences I have ever had and their incompetence and lack of respect ruined our vacation. And no refund given for broken hot tub or spoiled food due to broken fridge.

The entire experience from start to finish was bungled at each step.
