Wonderful team sport for kids to learn life skills to carry you to adulthood. Lucky for the Derby Groms they can grow up in the sport and skate as adults too.

It’s an amazing team builder & community. You confidence, balance & stability on skates. Once you learn you never forget and can stay fit while you skate at any age

The Santa Cruz Derby Groms are an top notch professional group with an excellent practice location. The Groms share the facility with the adults.

Location at the Sky Park in Scott’s Valley is really great to be surrounded by the park and attached public skate park.

Easy parking in parking lots
Get protective gear and start. It’s an easy sport to unlock skills to improve easily.

Derby Groms is a fantastic place to build friendships, balance, sportsmanship, emotional flexibility and FUN! The coaches are outstanding and the team really supports each other. I'm so glad we ran into team members while skating at the palladium who right from the beginning welcomed my daughter in and made her feel included. Tween years can be a challenge and this is a warm, strong and supportive group!

The kids were happy. Enjoyed watching my granddaughters excited to be a Derby girl an cheering the teams.

Parking does not have parking areas that close to the arena which is located at the bottom of a hill. People have to walk up 5 sets of concrete steps with no cover. They are always very dangerous when walking up and down.

Such a great community of skaters, coaches and parents. The girl power is awesome!!! My girls love it. They are gaining confidence in themselves, learning team work, and having a blast all while working their tails off.
