Our surf lesson was great! Wyatt was an awesome instructor and helped us to get up on the board even though it was our very first time. If we are back in the Santa Barbara area we’ll definitely do this again!

Danny was our instructor. He was excellent! My son and I both caught many waves! He helped us understand more about catching waves when on our own and gave us an extra push to help us get into every wave! Stellar experience for me and my 16yr old son. He also helped us understand surfing etiquette better so we would have a great time and not frustrate those around us. Easy great experience from beginning to end! I highly recommend Santa Barbara surf school and Danny!

This is the third lesson my daughter (now 11) has had with SB Surf School when we visit family and she has always had a blast - MacKenzie was knowledgeable and kind and made sure I always knew where they were.
I had 100% confidence that my daughter was as safe as possible while getting new surf skills on a day when the surf was a little wilder than normal. Terrific experience!

Ethan was an excellent instructor giving numerous actionable tips, helping me improve significantly even within just the one session together. Also he was a fun dude to be out their surfing with. As a nervous beginner, Ethan made everything approachable, breaking techniques down clearly and giving personalized tips. By the end, we were confidently riding waves!

Ethan was awesome. First lesson for my son (16) and daughter (13) and the 2nd for me. Got all of us up on waves in the first 20min in the water and all of us catching our own by the end. What an experience to have as a family! Thanks Ethan!!
