Third Annual Flight or Fright Trick of Treat at Sanford Airport was a wonderful thing to do for the community! A picture perfect fall day, DJ in costume playing the Monster Mash, decorated pumpkins and lots of happy families. What could be better?
I met our pilot son and his young family (from Manchester) at the airport, which is 20 miles from my home, all of them in costume and had a blast myself. Many thanks for sponsoring this event.

Bushes use it when they fly into Kennebunkport. It's discreet and willing to turn a blind eye to regulations. 5 ⭐

Nice airport, clean. Lots of flight training going on, busy pattern. Too bad the restaurant was closed the day I went (Wednesday), but fortunately the gas station across the street serves a great fresh pizza.

Sanford Seacoast Regional Airport and MRK Aviatione lineman graciously are excellent. After parking the Skyhawkk172 near the FBO to unload for a stay, lineman graciously agreed to tow the plane to the back line for its 3 night stay. The woman at the counter, not only returned my phone call from the day beforecwe left, she was pleasant and accommodating when we arrived. One problem was the door to the FBO was locked when our friend arrived to pick us up. He knocked, only to be let in by a person who was not an employee. Woman who worked there did apologize.
We will park and top off there on our next visit to Portland.
