No matter how good food is, it's excellent, and how nice the setting is, It is beautiful,it does not make up for terrible service. I order the bacon cheeseburger and received a regular cheeseburger. When my Diet Coke needed to be refilled I received a glass of ice tea. It took forever to get them to clear the table and it took so long to bring the check I ended up paying in cash just to get out of the restaurant. Take give themselves an unearned 18% gratuity. Trash from the deck was accumulating at one end of il.

The staff at Alisal Ranch is always friendly and welcoming. Chaz at the golf course makes the experience exceptional! Wonderful times always had at Alisal Ranch. Love the scenery, the people and the calmness of the oasis that it is!

Wide open. What you see is what you get. All tees are a challenge. Unbelievably good fairways. Greens a little slow but roll well.

Beautiful location, excellent restaurants, cozy accomodations and challenging, well maintained golf courses! Lots of variety in the activities offered by the guest ranch in addition to the opportunities for shopping and wine tasting in Solvang. Definitely a must-do!

An old course that is always enjoyable to play. Food at the restaurant is great. Wish I could still handle those amazing milkshakes they make. Staff is friendly as are all the people over there. If you are in Solvang or nearby you should pay them a visit.

A beautiful, high quality course. The layout is treelined, challenging and has a good diversity.
As a non-member of this private golf club, I would consider it if I was staying at the ranch, but I would not stay at the ranch to play it.

Beautiful course and well maintained, but the service at the pro shop left a lot to be desired. We had a tee-time for 7:30am and they didn't show up until almost 8am. When they got there, they didn't seem to care that we had been waiting.
