Music teacher is really good but there's no one there at the reception ever and class schedule gets changed randomly without informing student and you only find out after arriving. It can get frustrating..

They also expect you to show up there, knock doors, disrupt classes and figure stuff out when the receptionist isn't there. That's so not ideal in an environment of learning.

I have been there for 3 classes and 2 of them have been scheduling messes so I'm not looking forward to this journey any more.

Good community with passion for music and culture. Having worked as a teacher here, I learned a lot by teaching kids and felt inspired by their bright attitudes and willingness to adapt and learn quickly. Grateful for the opportunity and friendly staff. Unfortunately moved out of the area but definitely recommend this school for young kids to get exposed to a variety of arts. I think their system of short trial lessons works great, so that kids and parents can ensure there is a solid working relationship between teachers and students. My 10 year old son has been taking Tabla lessons at Raaga school for 4 years and has had a fantastic experience. The teachers are extremely skilled and caring, they go with the pace of the student, give rich feedback and challenge them. My son was very new to music and he has now grown to love Tabla and Hindustani music. The school has also given numerous opportunities for my son to perform on stage, which has helped with his craft and confidence

I started with Raaga Music school a year ago (violin). My teacher, Sri Abhay sir has been an incredible teacher with the right balance of teaching, education and patience. He takes the time and adapts his teaching style to the learning styles of his students. I feel fortunate to have him as my teacher and owe him my sincere gratitude to help me learn the violin at such a late stage in my life. Thank you Abhay sir!
I would like to also acknowledge the Raaga music school for the way they run the school.They are incredibly helpful, very organized, responsive and run it all so well. They make it so easy for us as students to work with the school inclusive of operating in a remote environment . Thank you for providing such an amazing learning experience!

Raaga - a great place to learn and stay connected with out culture and our country. Thanks for giving us a platform in this country. My daughter learns from one of their best teachers - Ms Amrita. A wonderful teacher with a beautiful voice. She handles kids with so much patience. My daughter loves learning from her and she is picking up great so far.

I've been a student of Guru Ananthalakshmiji for carnatic violin since August 2021. Although signing up to the classes initially I was skeptical of learning an instrument remotely via zoom. In under 7 months, I've completed my beginner lessons now at the Varnam stage. Guru Ananthalakshmiji is the most pleasant human being on the planet. Despite the classes being at late hours during her day, she has always been pleasant, patient and enthusiastic at every session. I've often complained to her that best things in life don't last long, such is my experience with her class too- it goes by quickly. I've enjoyed learning thus far and I'm determined to continue for a long time if the Guru is willing to take me on. Also thank you to the Raaga school team who have always been extremely responsive to all my asks, been prompt with uploading the class recordings etc.

As I watched my kids learn music, I too wanted to pursue my interest in Carnatic vocal for a long time now. The excellent teachers at Raaga school were able to rekindle the passion in me! I feel excited every week looking forward to the class. We all know that Music has healing powers and I can definitely state that Raaga School of Music has a wonderful set of musicians taking over the role of healers!

I have been learning Carnatic Music with Guru Shambhavi here and cannot imagine to explain how grateful and blessed I feel to be learning vocal here. I had initially started with Guru Sunandhini and eventually moved to a more advance batch. Both of them are absolutely brilliant! After YEARS of searching for a Guru to continue my Carnatic Music journey in the Bay Area, I finally found them.
They organize tests to motivate yourself to improve and they have recently introduced extra training sessions for free to help the students focus on specific notes/exercises. It clearly shows that they put a lot of thought making sure that the quality of teaching and learning is top notch!
I’ve been learning from Raaga School of Music since January 2019. I definitely recommend them!
They provide a variety of different types of classes and they have been an absolute treat to coordinate with for enrolling for classes.
My experience has been AMAZING with them! 🙂
