I ordered some fabric online and was able to pick it up an hour later. Their website was super easy to use. I loved their design board function that allowed me to save multiple fabrics and see how they looked together. This makes getting all the fabric for a project a snap. The fabric was well organized by color or design and it was easy to select my fabrics online. The fabric itself was great quality and a good price. It worked beautifully. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I’ve always been greeted kindly, and my cuts are excellent and they have an excellent choice of fabric. My only problem is that they don’t carry civil war style fabric, colors etc. which are my favorite and I have to drive out to other stores to get them. They have great choices of quilt rulers too.

I hesitate writing a review since there is no anonymity, however, I think I morally need to. I rarely go to a quilt shop even though I am a very serious quilter. So, when I go I am very excited. Quilt shops are a happy place to be--generally. I was so excited when I got to Old Town Quilt Shop that I didn't read the signs at the door and walked in. Therefore I don't think the staff liked me from the start. One staff didn't acknowledge me at all even though I was the only one in the shop. I host two sewing groups in the sewing studio on our property. We talk about quilt shops. I will share with my friends about my experience. I realize people have bad days, however, I think staff at quilt shops need to make a point to be smiley, friendly and interested in customer's projects etc., regardless of their personal circumstances. It will be worth it for me to go out of my way to go to Atascadero next time.

My sister and I just took a tote bag class and had so much fun. It's so much fun seeing other woman's tote bags and their fun accessories. Delores, our instructor, had the cutest tin box . I peeked inside and she had her threads and such items inside her box. And of course, Michelle, the owner, and her daughter are such helpful and nice woman. I love to go to The Old Town Quilt Shop and see all there beautiful fabrics.

I have visited the Old Town Quilt Shop in Orcutt many times. It is a wonderful quilt store. The selection of fabrics is extensive and awesome. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I always leave there feeling very happy that I stopped in. The online shopping is very easy. I am grateful that I get to consider Old Town Quilt Shop as one of my "local quilt stores."

Cute shop, beautiful fabric selection. Took a class and loved it. The education room is large with an entire table for each person. Just enough instruction to keep us going and allow for a lot of interaction with fellow students.
