The owner of this shop took my money when I pre-registered for a class which ended up being cancelled due to Covid. Six months later I began inquiring about a refund by emailing and leaving voice messages. Not once did I receive a response and of course no refund. She basically “stole” my money. Would I recommend her or her shop? NEVER! I value honesty and integrity.

Pauline, the shop owner, is always helpful and responsive to my needs. She has 2 wonderful quilting machines in the shop. Her prices are very reasonable and fabric is of good quality. I am a beginner long-armer and she has been so so helpful with that also. It is a smallish shop but well worth the effort to get there. I find a special something every time I go there.

Very nice and knowledgeable people. Amazing selection a fabrics and patterns and Notions. Be sure to make time for the store. I personally can spend an hour just looking around. If you have a quilt top that's done and you need to have it quilted this is your place. They do a beautiful job and quite reasonably. Anybody who's interested in quilting this is a " DON'T MISS" for your summer

I visited Half Square last week for the first time. I was skeptical because of the negative reviews posted here but I really wanted to shop for fabrics on this trip. What did I find? A rather lovely shop with a kind and helpful owner. She was equally kind to others shopping at the same time. No pressure, no fuss, no fakery...just kindness. I left with about a dozen different fabrics which are all beautiful additions to my stash. I'm not local to New England, but I do visit a few times a year. I'll admit parking was a bit of a challenge but that won't stop me. I'll definitely be back!

Pauline is a very respectable and an awesome individual who has one of the most awesome quilt shop! Not sure why there are negative comments about her? Pauline, the owner, has been VERY HELPFUL in teaching me "tricks of the trade" when making quilts. Always polite and answers all of my questions. She does a terrific job with her long arm machines finishing my projects. I recommend her shop and her quality workmanship.
