Easy pleasant check-in. Clean room, large fridge, heavy light-blocking curtains. Good temp control (heat, in Nov) - it was a little loud, but powerful, so it got the job done quickly. Shower had decent pressure, not fantastic (I appreciated them saving water). Bathroom door was difficult/ loud to open and close, but no biggie. VERY firm mattress; if you're sharing you'll definitely feel the other person move. As mentioned by others, you can clearly hear anyone outside, especially on the ground floor. But we didn't hear our neighbors on either side. I sleep with earplugs, so I can't speak to the traffic or train noise, if any. We have no pets, but their policy is quite clear if you do. Great motel, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We arrived late and the owner greeted us in a friendly and informative way. The premises were very clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and well appointed. I liked that the building was older with period millwork (no MDF to be found) and decorations. Unlike a lot of places we have stayed, the room was warm when we entered. Even though it had a small fridge (as most do), there was a separate freezer compartment , not just an ice cube tray at the top of the fridge section. And my favorite way of sensing quality, a soft close toilet seat .

Good clean room with freezer, microwave, TV, a small dining table. Owner/staff super friendly. Enjoyed my stay and will defintely recommend to others.

As others have stated, very clean and cozy rooms. Front desk guy really cares about your stay and will do anything to make you feel welcome. Look no further.
Excellent restaurants and attractions nearby. Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel

SCAM ALERT
BEWARE!

I go to Willcox for work on a weekly basis and I’ve tried most hotel/motels in the area. Motel 8 was my first time and by far the worse experience I’ve had.

Room appeared clean but after a closer look it was dirty and a used wet towel was found under the bed. Wallpaper was falling apart. AC is extremely loud.
I was going to keep all that to myself and just never book this place again.
I also didn’t like that they took my credit card to charge me extra money to cover for extra cleaning fees if needed (knowing how clean I am I figured it would be fine though)

Later in the day after checking out, I received a call from the management telling me that I had a pet with me so they can charged extra.
I told them that I didn’t have any pet with me. They accused me of lying saying the manager saw me with a dog which is a blatant lie. I told them I was there on a work trip with a work vehicle and my work has a very strict no pet policy so it couldn’t have happened and told them to check for cameras and to prove me that I had a pet if they were so sure of what they accused me. Then they changed their story and said they found dog hair in the room. I told them I have 5 dogs at home so it’s not impossible that pet hair would be there (although I wouldn’t be surprised they are lying about finding pet hair but I give them the benefit of the doubt). The conversation wasn’t going anywhere and I told them if they charged me I would be suing them after which they said there’s no reason to sue and they hung up as I kept talking.

That was second time I stayed in Motel 8 Willcox while moving from Florida. Everything you need during roadtrip for reasonable price! Looks like bathroom and most of room are renovated. Hotel has a pool! Definitely recommend for traveler’s. Safe, quiet, clean, nice. And town have a some attractions like wine tasting from
Local wineries as well!

This was a cozy little, no frills motel. The room was very clean. The staff was so sweet & very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again when coming through.

Had unforseen car troubles outside Willcox and had to get a room in town. I'm glad it was at this motel because they are really friendly and accommodating. The wifi is really fast and dependable and the rooms are nice and clean. Also there is a corner store less than 1 min away which is very convenient
