I just photographed an engagement session at Montalvo Arts Center for the first time, and it was love at first sight. Let me tell you, as a photographer, this place is a literal dream – so many beautiful spots for portraits all in one location. From a couples' perspective, it is so convenient to be able to get ready on-site and not have to travel between venues. Bottom line, if you're looking for a venue in the area for a session or wedding, this is it.

The Montalvo Arts Center is a true gem nestled in the hills of Saratoga. Not only does it offer incredible art and cultural experiences, but the surrounding area is a paradise for nature lovers and hikers. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with plenty of sculptures and art installations to admire as you explore.

The hiking trails around Montalvo are diverse and cater to all levels of hikers. The Lookout Trail offers breathtaking views of the Silicon Valley and is perfect for a moderately challenging hike. The Redwood Trail is another favorite, providing a serene walk through towering redwoods and lush greenery. For a longer adventure, the Scenic Trail offers a loop that showcases the area's natural beauty.

Whether you're an art enthusiast or a hiking aficionado, the Montalvo Arts Center and its trails are a must-visit. It's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, offering a blend of culture and nature that is truly refreshing. Highly recommended!

We photographed a wedding here and it is such a beautiful venue! It's so convenient to be able to host all parts of your wedding here - you don't have to leave site for portraits! As a photographer, this is super convenient and saves time for the client. We had a delightful time here and hope to be back!

Parking was easy there are 4 parking lots…

This is a fantastic center for performing arts. They have outdoor concerts and plays, indoor performances in the carriage house, rotating art exhibits, and outdoor art installations.

They have color signs on the side of the building with the 2024 shows, complete with the dates and prices.

There are four parking lots here. Where you will park should depend on what you intend to do. There are a couple easy-to-navigate trails here, narrow, mostly shaded, and with good elevation. Some of the other noteworthy spots here include a gated eucalyptus tree walkway, a succulent garden, and a place with some installations that make music with the wind.

Very nice venue in the carriage house theater. Great sound and comfy seating. Very affordable ticket prices. I will definitely go back to another show there.
