Great dance floor. They don't varnish the floor so it's better for dancing. You can rent the hall for a wedding or a potluck. I go there for a vegan potluck every Thanksgiving and it's fun

I visited this spot when I was visiting one summer weekend and it was a blast. If you are willing to dance and learn as you go, this is the spot for you. I had the most dances here and everyone was so kind and friendly.

Steve is the fantastic ring leader for Friday and Sunday night's dancing here. He brings in quality teachers, is one himself, and always provides a great line up of music and dance options. Attendees are friendly. Everyone dances with variable partners and admission very reasonable! Thank you, Steve!

I go to the dances at Monroe Hall. The hall is clean with high ceilings and a great ventilation system. It is a great spot for dancing and dance classes. I recommend checking the place out. The entry driveway is small and the building sits closer to College Ave leaving lots of parking space in back of the building. Signs indicate to drive to the right side of the building to enter the back lighted parking lot.

Monroe Hall is one of the best things about Santa Rosa. People there are really friendly. They teach a variety of dances. It's just a wonderful place.

Santa Rosa dance hall specializing in country and line dancing, West Coast Swing, Night Club Two Step, etc. with the occasional Hustle, Bachata, or ChaCha thrown in. Largely local crowd is friendly. Instructors are knowledgeable. A number of dancers do travel from other areas to attend the classes and dances . Congenial atmosphere. A good place to check out on a weekend night when you might otherwise stay home. Parking is free. Recommended. Give it a try.

It was ok but it is NOT kid friendly the person that was teaching the lesson was barely even friendly to the 50 and 60 year olds which were the only people there! I will not be going back and you should probably find a different place to bring kids as the instructor asked my kids to sit out of many of the dances
