Modern Goaltending has been wonderful for the growth of our son in the position and sport he loves. Coaches Austin Lotz and Hayden Stewart work great together planning the items to work with him on in their sessions. One product they offer that I don’t know if others know about is video review of games. You get your video back with voice over comments and drawings showing things you are doing correct or need to do differently. Our son also participates in the twice a week off-ice workouts with Coach Will and we can tell he is physically getting stronger. This helps him with his strength and confidence on the ice. Thanks Modern Goaltending for helping our son be the best he can be!

My son started showing interest in the goalie position over a year ago. We found Modern Goaltending April 2023. My son has progressed greatly over the last year. Their attention to details within the position have really benefited him on and off the ice. He was only 7 yrs old when he started and their ability to work with him and his attention and to continue to grow his love for the sport was outstanding. He attended their summer camp summer of 2023 and never wanted to leave. He learned more than just drills and positioning but learned about the mental aspect of the position which really assisted him within the game. He continues to this day to train weekly with their coaches and they continue to push him to be the best goalie he can be. I cannot wait to see what they are able to accomplish with him in the future.

Modern Goaltending has a amazing program that consists of on ice instruction, off ice conditioning and a nutrition expert that work together to create individual plans to support the success of goalies. The goalie coaches Austin Lotz and Hayden Stewart design age and developement level appropriate level sessios that challenge and encourage goalies to expand their skill sets. My grandson games has greatly improved and I would highly recommend this program !

Modern Goaltending helped me go from a newbie goalie to DIII college athlete in a ridiculously short amount of time.

They are always here to help me, let me ask dumb questions, review an NHL goal, talk pads, etc, etc. We put together a custom plan for me and my various time, environmental constraints that has helped me get to play in college. Them being able to offer remote, off ice, and on ice training was huge for me as well. With me they were able to address easy, common mistakes and build up to advanced techniques, shot analysis, in-game decisions, etc.

Regardless of your skillset, a newbie like I was or college athlete like I am now, Modern Goaltending can help drive towards those goals. I’d recommend them to any goalie
