Melissa turned our wild boy into a well manner pup that we now can safely take to the park, a store or travel with any time we want. We signed him up for her 3 weeks Complete Camp (known at our house as Boot camp). The 3 weeks of him being gone was so hard as we missed him more than anything but Melissa posted videos and photos every few day of his progress. The transformation has been great to see. With all his training we still have our loving silly boy back but now we have much better control of him. Thank you Melissa for spending time with our boy. He only requests you have all the squirrels relocated from the park so he can freely walk without distractions.

Melissa’s Happy Dogs team worked wonders for both our dogs! We sent our rescue puppy and he came back home so well behaved, we sent our older, well behaved (or so we thought) dog. Taking walks by myself with both dogs, a stroller, and my son on a bike is easy now thanks to the incredible training they received at Melissa’s Happy Dogs. Our house is a much calmer place thanks to our dogs’ ability to relax and be calm inside. And they listen so well outside. They were even trained off leash! Melissa’s Happy Dogs definitely exceeded our expectations. And we are so grateful!

This was the first time I have sent a dog to a professional trainer for a two week boarding camp and I’m happy to say that Melissa and her team have exceeded my expectations. My ten month old lab went to Melissa’s facility for two weeks and she learned so much. She is a pleasure to be out and about with on our property and I don’t fear her breaking away from me and getting hurt. I strongly recommend Melissa and her team.

Lilly my 1 & 1/2 year golden is very high energy and we needed help with her basic commands and listening. Lilly did the 10 day foundation camp and our expectations were exceeded. Melissa and her team genuinely care about your dogs well-being. The balanced training approach provides a teaching approach that dogs respond to. Lilly (and most importantly me) learned so much and I can’t wait to keep working with my reformed pup. A+ training, if i could rate higher i would! Highly professional with update videos and pics throughout training and accommodating in the face of unforeseen circumstances. They took my German Shepherd puppy Aja for Puppy Boot Camp and the difference in focus and obedience is night and day. They gave me thorough instructions as well as videos specifically catered to Aja to follow through on to sustain good behaviors and the results speak for themselves. Couldn’t be happier with the results and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a well trained dog. Im already looking forward to the advanced classes.

We just had our second dog trained by Melissa’s Happy Dogs! The first time we lived locally and this time we drove to her from Kansas! After a failed attempt with a different trainer near us, we knew we would be driving Gunner to Alabama and back 3 weeks later to pick him up! She was our first choice but we dreaded the long drive and tried to trust the process with someone else. We should have just went with our gut feeling and made the drive in the first place. Today is day one of having him home and we have movers in and out of our house and packing. He has been perfect using his place work all day! Not only was Melissa great with both of our dogs, but she took the time to explain everything and have us practice with him before taking him home. She made such a positive difference in both of our dogs lives and we can truly enjoy our dogs and taking them places. Do not second guess using Melissa’s Happy Dogs! I promise you won’t be disappointed ?
