We had such a fantastic experience here with Zinaida! She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Our leather wallets turned out amazing, and it was a great birthday experience overall. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, hands on, creative experience!

My husband and I had an incredible time leather working with Zinaida! We booked a private level 1 class to make a leather tray and envelope for my husband’s birthday. Booking was really easy, prices were very reasonable considering the quality of materials and instruction. Having never worked with leather, we did not know what to expect. But Zinaida made the art of leather working accessible and fun with her teaching! Also at the end, we got to learn more about different leathers and explore her stash of exotic skins! Additionally, her home studio was beautiful and comfortable, a perfect environment for making art, and a nice reprieve from the big city. We would 100% recommend signing up for a class, or two, if you are curious about leather! We hope to be back again soon!

This was the most incredible experience -- a really fun class that left my partner and me each with a beautiful belt at the end! We even engraved each other's belts, which was such a nice touch. Zinaida is so amazing and I couldn't recommend her more.

We loved taking Zinaida’s moleskin leather notebook class. I had a bit of sewing experience and my boyfriend had zero, but Zinaida’s guidance made the process fun and easy to understand. It was a good flow and our notebooks turned out gorgeous. I learned how to saddle stitch, thin leather, stamp, and burnish edges. The class has sparked an interest for me to learn more, so I would definitely take another class from her. Thank you Zinaida!

My friend and I took a class here with Z and had a wonderful experience! Z was incredibly engaged and articulately explained complex sewing techniques. She described each step of the way with great care and direction. Our 4 hour class passed by so quickly. Highly recommend with a great value, especially if you bring a friend or two!

Such a unique and artful experience! This leather class was recommended by a friend and I can't say enough good things about it. The studio is gorgeous, the projects are interesting (and useful), and Zinaida the teacher is excellent at her craft. Plus she's really good at explaining things for beginners, which makes it that much more fun. Highly recommend if you're looking for something different to do on your own or with a friend!

I loved the class I took with Zinaida. Leather craft has always interested me, and she shared so much knowledge on classic European leathercraft during the class I took. I made a beautiful leather journal cover, and had so much fun in her light-filled Mill Valley studio. She's a master at her craft and all-around gracious and thoughtful person. So excited to keep doing leather work and learn more from her!
