I absolutely enjoyed this class and it was very informative. I got certified 2 years ago by a different program and I can honestly say that I did not learn as much as I did here today. I really liked the fact that it was a small class setting which made it more personal. Will be coming back next time it’s time to renew. Thank you!

Unprofessional, rude and only interested in money. Spoke with Judy (owner) one day ahead of time to do skills portion of BLS provider recert. Judy said to come in at any time between 9-12:30 the following day. I got there at 10:35 am. There was only one instructor and one student. I was asked to wait 25 min., so I told instructor I would go to the store and come back. Came back around 11:03. Same instructor asked to sit down and wait another 5-10 minutes. I told her that Judy had told me that there would be plenty of instructors and that I would have to wait, yet as a courtesy I had already waited 1/2 hour and now she was asking me to wait again. She got flustered and asked me what I was there for and told told her that I was there for my skills test since I had already completed the AHA written part online. She said that if I waited, she would have me show her "...what you got..." and that after passing that I would have to take a 25 question written test. I told that I have already done that I was only there for a skill evaluation. I asked her for Judy's number and called Judy who told me that she would call me back in 5 minutes, which she never did, so I called her back. She apologized and told me that she had planned to be there, but got held-up, but that the other instructor would take me now and would still charge me the $50 even though I had to wait 45 minutes. She told me that the way they did this was to have me show them my technique, then critique me and have me redo the whole thing, which now would be considered the real test. I told her that I thought that they would go over everything and then test me because I was interested in learning, but she restated that that was the way they did it there. I was shocked and left in disbelief even though I had scheduled and taken the online course based on what Judy had told me regarding her availability the following day. She didn't even offer to give me a discount for having me wait to give her business, so I took my business elsewhere even though at this point I could scheduled anyone else to test me out today. Unprofessional, rude and more concerned about making her 50 bucks than teaching well to potentially save a life. Sad!
