My child started taking classes here recently and they have made the transition very easy. Ms. Kim and the instructors, Master Joy and Master Baek, have created a warm and welcoming environment that encourages students to grow in their martial arts skills while fostering confidence and respect.

Master Kim is really good with kids. He teaches with a lot of patience and making the class really fun. Nice space for young and adults to learn something new. Even the little ones can follow the instructions and enjoy the class.

My 6.5 year old needed a bit of help channeling her focus and her energy in a constructive way. This program (at the Walnut Creek location) has been a Godsend. Kind and understanding instructors who actually understand how kids work. Gentle but with definite and clear expectations from the kids. Everyone is wonderful and my kiddos confidence (and focus) has improved 10000%. Highly recommend

My daughter started taekwondo at Jisung Taek one year ago and is now a purple belt. Not only is she learning/advancing in taekwondo but she is growing to be more confident and comfortable with her culture thanks to the environment that the instructors there have created. My daughter is starting from scratch (about 2 months ago) and we luckily found Master Kim's studio.
Master Kim is an awesome teacher and really dedicated to see all his students making progress. He teach this martial art with passion and make it contagious for student to learn it.
Perfect balance in being serious and make the art fun to be learned.

This is the second Taekwondo studio my kids have attended (the first had to shut down two years ago because of the pandemic), and they are loving it so far. They tell me that it's much more challenging but still fun and rewarding. Master Kim and his team are fantastic. The classes are fairly fast-paced -- the kids get quite a workout -- but there's also special attention to proper position and form. All instructors create a very respectful and encouraging atmosphere. Highly recommended!

My 9 year old daughter and 4 year old son has been coming here for about five months now. My daughter was initially hesitant, but when she realize there were so many girls her age, she decided to try it, and they both really love it! It is the highlight of their week.

As a parent, I love that they teach discipline, respect, and hard work. Master Kim, Carol, and the entire team is very friendly, hard working, and care about the students. Highly recommend this place!
