The room was very comfortable. They serviced the room each day…YES! We had a room on the 6th floor facing the trees. Lovely and quiet. I cannot say that the other rooms offer as nice a view. From what I can tell the views are of parking lots.||The pool and hot tub were fun at night. It was helpful that there were not many people at the hotel during our stay.||There was good parking but you pay a lot for it. I am really not sure why they charge for parking. There is not anything nearby that warrants paying for parking. It is not like they protect your car. There are signs saying you park at your own risk…and that they will tow if you do not pay.||The location was convenient for adventuring in the Santa Cruz to Monterey areas.||The restaurant was good but more expensive. Also, if you want coke instead of Pepsi just buy it from their market.||Also, if you are a Diamond member with 2 people staying make sure they give you the $15 food credit for both people. They need to do this manually.

Well I went to meet a friend for dinner. Super over priced for a bar. 3 side orders, a beer and glass of wine happy hour, $60

Response to hotel. Thank you for writing me back. Your hotel bar used to be my anniversary spot for 5 years and always loved it. Your staff is always very nice, Dave is wonderful. I understand prices are higher, but it can be disappointing at times to spend so much and have the meal be small portions, burnt or just no flavor. I know I will be back, just most likely won't eat. Thank you for writing back.

The staff are great, the exterior of the building is beautiful. The reason for the 1 star? Purposefully deceitful about the parking charge. $18 a day for parking entirely undisclosed during the booking process. We come here for our anniversary every year because the location is so great but we are never coming back again. An extra almost $20 a day and it’s through a private company. Nothing has changed, there is no security, no valet, no extra, just a charge. It’s absolutely ridiculous and shameful that they’re trying to shake down guests by only disclosing that information when you pull up. I usually stay in Hilton hotels and have never experienced this. Sorry Scott’s Valley Hilton, you will not be seeing us again.

We recently stayed at Hilton Santa Cruz / Scotts Valley, expecting a premium experience at $180 per night. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We booked a room with a King-sized bed—but upon arrival, the bed was noticeably smaller. We measured the mattress and confirmed it was, in fact, a Queen-sized bed.||When we brought this to the staff’s attention, they didn’t apologize or offer a solution. Instead, they gaslit us, insisting it was a ā€œstandard kingā€ despite our clear proof showing otherwise. This level of dishonesty and refusal to acknowledge the issue was appalling. After significant back-and-forth, they finally honored our request and provided the King bed we had paid for—but this level of inconsistency and lack of accountability is unacceptable.||The quality of this hotel is shockingly low for the price. Rooms are poorly maintained, and staff are more interested in defending themselves than addressing guest concerns. We expected much more from a Hilton property, but this stay felt more like a cheap roadside motel with a Hilton label slapped on it.||Save yourself the hassle and frustration—there are far better options in the Santa Cruz area. Hilton Santa Cruz / Scotts Valley is simply not worth your money or your sanity.

The hotel itself is great, good location and it's very convenient. Staff were nice too. Pool is heated.

But they also want to charge everything: parking is $18/day, breakfast is $25/person but the quality is worse than the free ones from other similar places. Even bottled water charges $2/bottle.

I got the bed and breakfast package and the made to order breakfast was really good.
The front desk girl was very accommodating.
Room was nice.
Only complaint is the bathrooms: the shower leaked water on floor, I had to put towels down before showering. And motion detection lights in bathroom kept turning off while I was doing my business.

We definitely had high hopes, but from the start our first person we encountered was a kid behind the desk that seemed highly stressed out.
Our room was cleaned but I think it's time they swap out the pillows because ours smelt we didn't use them!!! We also went to the bar to have a cocktail the service was good but everything was Overpriced.

If there is one word I could use, it would be: don't. The other word that almost took first place is: gross. The lobby looks good, the outside facade is cool, the people are nice (some are very competent and some are really lost, but they're all nice).

But review the pics of the room. I cannot believe this place is noted as a 4-star hotel. It's a "gross-star" hotel not a 4-star hotel, LOL. I have never ever seen mold or that pink Salmonella stuff on a picture frame or a door opening before. That's a first.

I would highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton nearby, which I'll go back to the next time. I should never have tried this place.
