Very nice short simple walking trail with spectacular views of the Gualala River where it meets the Pacific Ocean. Timed correctly you can watch harbor seals swim and hunt and a beautiful bald eagle soaring overhead. Now here is the down side, finding parking along highway 1 can be challenging, especially on weekends. Best bet is grab a meal and do some shopping at the local spots and then walk behind the buildings to walk along the bluffs.

This as a very short trail(1/4 to 1/2 mile). There are some nice views of the Gualala River Estuary and bluffs. You can access it through the breezeway on the left side of Trinks Cafe and across the back lawn.

It's a nice place to stop and park and take in the scenery. We got lunch at the Surf Market and enjoyed the beach of the beach while having a fabulous lunch made by the market. Unfortunately, I missed the opportunity to take photos.

This is a short trail with beautiful views which you can access from the back of Surf Motel/Surf Market. This is not the longer trail that takes you to the campground and will not have coastal access. It provides a great view of the river. There are also plenty of wildflowers (when in season). I spoke to someone local who said that plans are underway to extend this trail which would be wonderful.
